I guess I wouldn't say they are garbage just not people/verses that can keep my attention through the whole track. Esp when i gotta hear his nasally ass voice say nigga 7 times in like 2 bars lol. Game sure isn't garbage. I always loved game but I just wish tech would do songs with just one guest and then do a second verse more often instead of him then 2/3/4 guests. See me is a perfect example. If it wasn't for his second verse I would skip after his first. now since I don't I'm getting used to wiz's slow laid back ass verse and the hook obviously helps. I'd rather listen to all of Colorado then all of with the BS because i like all them cats verses more than the other two but I'd prob prefer the latter if tech just ripped two or three verses but b.o.b.'s hook kills scoobs

I agree

More tech the better.

But then im a hating cunt who would prefer 90% tech rather then tech trying to be a rapping salvation army and giving slots to shit nowhere rappers like snow and scoob ect lol

I absolutely LOVE Something Else.

I haven't listened to the tracks off a Tech CD in advance since Everready, so I kept it the same. Bought the CD after work, popped it in... I instantly loved it. Sure, it is very different for Tech, but maybe that is why I like it so much. I have stopped expecting to pop in a Tech CD and hear that old school sound from the Anghellic/AP time frame. So the fact that this is literally "Something Else" made me very happy. I did like 6's & 7's, but Something Else is a step above for me.

I think track #5 is the only one I kinda went "meh" to, but even still... This is easily the first Tech CD since Everready that I have liked every track on the album, and even Everready had it's brief moments where you wanted to fast forward.

I usually group CBTS, Worst, Anghellic, AP and ER:TR in the same group, and then everything since together... Killer, K.O.D., 6's & 7's and now Something Else. I think I still like AP the best out of the first group (but acknowledge Anghellic or ER:TR are better works of his) and I easily like Something Else the best out of the "new(er)" group.

Anyhow, I don't get a chance to come around here much at all anymore, but thought I'd stop by on a Tech N9ne album release day and ramble a bit. Seems like Tech has really taken off in the past two years... Not sure he'll ever be HUGE, but he's in a much better place than he was 10 years ago.

I figured I would read up on this shit before I go out and cop this shit with the bit of $$ I got and it seems like fairly mixed reviews. Just have to be the judge of it myself, log on here once a year and it seems people come here to criticize the shit for the most part. If anyone can hook me up with the bonus tracks, it's appreciated.

Tech listens to his fans for real. I know he at least considers them. I remember him coming on here once and asking for collab ideas. I know for a fact Serj was mentioned ( I suggested it lol) and other names dropped that he has now worked with. I think it's great that an artist will pay attention. Plus if he likes them then that's just better hah

Tech has been talking about wanting a collaboration with Serj/System of a Down forever though. Since at least the release of Absolute Power. 13 years. Funny enough, he gets him 13 years later on his 13th album?
