Flavor Flav's restaurant closes in Sterling Heights | News - Home

Flavor Flav is known for that clock around his neck but time has run out at his Sterling Heights restaurant.

His chicken and ribs eatery, Flavor Flav's Chicken & Ribs, was shut down but the rapper plans to open another location. The motto of the restaurant is "Chicken you crave, perfected by Flav."

Flavor flav's business partner, Gino Harmon, says they already have a new place in mind

A judge says the operators of the restaurant were evicted because they were behind on rent.

Harmon denies that claim.

About Flav:

The Flavor Flav's Chicken & Ribs website describes Flav as:

Entrepreneur, Rap Mogul, and Reality T.V. Personnel William Drayton aka Flavor Flav brings his passion for bold and innovative fare straight to the heart of Metro-Detroit, MI that inspired Flavor Flav's Chicken and Ribs.

Chuck D must be kicking himself in the ass for letting this Coon be associated with PE, It Takes A Nation was one of the first tapes I bought as a kid, when they were inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame you could see the shame on Chuck D's face when flav started speaking

Dude's been wearing a clock on his neck since he started with PE. I'm pretty sure Chuck D knew that Flava Flav didn't fit with the groups conscious image from the beginning. But to be real about it - When PE was in their prime, Flava Flav brought a large portion of fans to Public Enemy who would have never otherwise been exposed to that level of conscious hiphop. If I was in Chuck D's position, I would feel no regrets.
