Do you think Floyd vs Canelo will be exciting?

With Floyd focusing on being more elusive and defensive again, and since Canelo tends to have a low work rate, I'm thinking this could end up a snoozer. Agree or disagree? Maybe Canelo will press the action more or will he be the hesitant boxer puncher like he was against Trout?
Canelo going to work that body and is probably going to try and corral mayweather. He wont out punch himself so it will start out slow and cautious until canelo connects on his power punches.

Why are people so worried about Canelo's low work rate when he's always fucking fools up, and his fight before Trout he was was just on beast mode with that guy? If Canelo lands one power punch early in the fight i believe Floyds work rate will drop tremendously due to the fact that he's never faced someone with that much power.

Not only rumored that Matthysse/Garcia could end up on the 9/14 card, and Victor Ortiz's return could end up on there too per Fat Dan. I wonder who Quitctor Ortiz might fight though? Lots of good matchups to be made at 147

Guerrero, Alexander, Maidana, Broner, Malignaggi? Any one of those would be great. But the asking price would likely be too high to also go on this card. I'd like to see a rematch with Lopez even.

^^^^ I think he was talking about possible fights with victor ortiz.

I can't even fathom someone saying Garcia vs. Matthysse is meaningless.

Personally if Matthyse / Garcia and ALvarez / Mayweather were airing simultaneously I would DVR Mayweather and watch Garcia / Matthyse live.

I don't think they'll really put that fight on the undercard. If they do though I'll fork over 75$ happily (as opposed to begrudgingly, like I plan to.) Rumors say Broner vs. Maidana on the undercard as well, I doubt we'll see much on the undercard besides Mares and then Santa cruz

No, what I'm saying is Alvarado, Rios, JMM, Pac, even Bradley will take all those fools from GBP to school ecxept Mathysse cuz the welterweights from GBP are all being paired up with has beens beyond their primes while TR can make headlining ppvs out of all these fighters cuz they are that good.

honestly this card doesn't need a undercard. having mares on there alone is fine with me and its a great way of building mares name up even more especially after everybody watching him on the last undercard. ortiz on the card would be nice, broner & khan are other options fuck it Broner vs Ortiz would be sick.

So think all the TR fighters can beat all the GBP fighters??? Hahah yea right. I can see them splitting in some matches but no way would they shut out GBP. Got Em!!

GB has the elite staple of fighters top rank has manny, bradley, rios & chavez jr and that's pretty much it.
Marquez. RigonGod, Donaire and others.

Golden Boy has the DEEPEST stable out of any promoter by far. They ooze talent especially between 140-147. The higher weight classes they get thin. Poor Peter Quillin for example at 160 is stuck on the outside cuz all the stars are with top rank, Goosen, DiBella, K2, Sullerand etc.

Both GB and TR got stars. But it gets silly when people start picking sides. They are just promoters and we are just fans of boxing. I just want to see fights.

I have to pick sides, cuz GB always has a "has been" fight an elite young athlete and we all know whats gonna happen at the end. They only had two good fight and thats the Maidana fight and Mathysse one. And deepest doesn't mean the best. I like to watch the best fight the best

LOL marquez has 1 maybe 2 fights left. your "rigonGod" couldn't fill a high school gym if the tickets were free. donaire's stock at this point went down to a b-level ufc fighter. word is cotto resigned with tr so thats.... terrible news.

Why you acting like i care?

We're talking the best fighters or ticket sales?! Both Rigondeaux and Donaire are two of the best at 122 and 126, no doubt about that. I don't care how many people watch no one is fucking with Rigondeaux.

Cotto is a free agent like Floyd so if he signs a quick deal with TR to fight the Marquez Bradley winner I don't see how thats terrible.

Actually, if Cotto fights at 147 again he would be the shit again, cuz he slowed down alot at 154. Major fights there. Plus, Rigo is barely making a name for himself and whether we like it or not he is the most feared boxer at his weight class. I just wish that GBP and TR squash it fast, cuz big fights are to be made, and I feel GBP is fucking up. Thats how I feel
