I mean I work and live in downtown Seattle. People are pretty open and blunt about their beliefs and opinions here and I've never really encountered that. Maybe I'm just lucky and it's the people who I choose to surround myself with aren't like that though, I don't know. There have been a few people that I'd call good acquaintances that I didn't even know they were vegetarian and/or vegan until we went out to eat and I had known them for extended periods of time prior to that.
