I'm supposed to go out for a quick bite to eat with my mom at like 6:30. That huge ass Italian Panini might not have been the best idea right now (sure was the tastiest though).

I think I will get medicated right now and that should bring back the hunger in a few hours.
i think you two should go to nearest dead horse restaurant

So apparently some scientists with the biggest telescope on earth discovered the moments right after the Big Bang.

International team strengthens Big Bang Theory

Pretty sure the overly religious folks are about to respond with crazy answers like what they say about dinosaur bones such as "god put that there to confuse and mystify us" lol
Nah the devil put dinosaur bones in the earth to fool people into thinking the earth is older than three thousand years or whatever the fuck old they think it is.
lol that one too

I actually heard the "god put dinosaur bones here to confuse and mystify us" live in person when I was 15. I went to my grandpa's church with him a few times cause he'd invite me sometimes to go and then hit up lunch at the diner afterwards.

I wanted to lol in the middle of the church so bad when I heard that. They were some really nice people there, but some of the off the wall shit they said just had me shaking my head.
Man, whatever churches you guys went to, whatever particular sect if Christianity came out & made that assumption... they gotta be the dumbest dumbfucks in the history of dumb fucking people... & overall make Christianity look hella bad. #hellablackeye

I been to church my whole life & most churches believe in a "Big Bang Theory", the only difference is they believe it was created by God or a higher power....

kinda like the chicken & the egg, right? ...someone had to put the egg there for the chicken to hatch.

wow though, just wow.... hearing some of the experiences from folks I could understand how one might be atheist

I've personally never went to a church that believe that. I've read plenty of instances of folks who did believe it and/or churches that preach it though.

Once again that's not to say I think it's in the norm or anything.

I really don't feel like typing a lot but none of that (or anything that falls under that the type of category on a religious level) has anything to do with me being Atheist by the way.

I don't even like calling myself Atheist honestly. As I've gotten older I tend to dislike labels more and more. Whether they are political, spiritual, ideological or whatever I feel they tend to box you in with a group mindset. I like being my own person with my own values and beliefs. My opinions and thoughts are constantly growing and shifting as I learn more and live life.

I agree totally. Even though I am basically athiest in belief structure I fucking hate people that call themselves Athiests. Always arguing trying to be dicks about people deepest beliefs. I'll side with the sweet little ladies that drop off pamphlets at my door and invite me to potlucks and dinners over an agressive Athiest any day.
