Guerrero is pretty versatile. People all of a sudden say he's dirty because of the Berto fight but I've never seen him fight like that. [/quotes]
He's probably been fighting dirty most of his career. I wouldn't put it past him.
Usually he's a boxer puncher, uses distance and sets up shots. Against Berto he became a mauler and it worked great against Bertos style. He took away Bertos best asset, hand speed, by fighting him so close.
And you think he'll be able to pull that off against Floyd? Hell no. Floyd is going to be there one minute and gone the next. He can try an inside fight if he wants but it ain't gonna work for him. You watch the Berto fight again and you'll see that Guerrero started getting tagged when the fight was inside. If Berto had fought in his usual stance/style, he would have won the fight. Instead, he came in thinking he was Floyd or some throwback from Queensbury, or the second guy from Punch-Out! Whats his name? Von Kaisers?
Thats called being smart. That shows good ring IQ to understand you gotta do different things based on the opponent.
So holding a guy and hitting him in the back of the head, and constantly hitting him after the bell rings is smart fighting? He comes with that shit against Floyd and he is going to pay. Again, just ask Victor.
Guerrero is no chump, he's going to surprise a lot of folks
He's going to come in and fight the same type of fight he did against Berto but it ain't gonna work. He can't move. He's too flat footed. He isn't quick enough and he ain't gonna knock Floyd out.
Floyd by KO/TKO in the 7th or 8th.
