Showtime must have offered him some big money as i didn't think Floyd would sign a multi fight contract at his age and at this point in his career where he basically does whatever he wants.
I guess the kick off presser will be aired live on CBS possible within two weeks.

The ghost from the Bay Area, I got luv for him. I use to work with his uncle years ago, he always praised his nephew when we spoke boxing. The ghost has a big heart and skills to go with it, but I just got this feeling money may will give him the beats! The ghost will earn his payday

I think the biggest thing here is, Mayweather will have been out of the ring for quite awhile and will have had a big gap in training after being in jail too. He strikes me as a gym rat that never put on any weight between fights, even in retirement. While in jail, I'm not sure he had the opportunity to do any type of working out. He also didn't look great against Cotto. If he's diminished any, Guerrero might not be the guy he would want to fight here.
Having said that, Mayweathers straight right would likely hand often. Guerrero doesn't have a very good right hook, so Mayweathers left hook will again be a good weapon.
I think this sounds like a great new platform for boxing as far as publicity though and good for Guerrero getting the fight in that case.

Layoff prove to not hurt Mayweather. He has fought after bigger layoffs then this a couple times and looked just fine. Now as far as dimishing or father time, thats the tricky one and the only reason why I would be worried for Mayweather at this point in his career no matter who he fights. U never know when father time will step in that ring with u. I just hope and believe with his desire to train and his tur work ethic that he will be able to fight at a high level just a bit longer. I didnt see any diminish in his last fight so Ill take it fight by fight. He fought Cotto in a crowd pleasing style but when he wanted to move or get away and frequently tag Cotto it was easy so well see. Got Em!!

We all know styles make fights. Berto always gets way 2 much credit simply because of his physique and flashy ko's against lesser opponents. He's always had a suspect chin (reference 2 FNF fights) and did anyone forget that no-heart Ortiz beat him? Measuring how Guerrero will do against a fighter who was mentally beat b4 the fight (coming out startin the fight thinkin he was Floyd or Broner) when he'd never done that b4 in his life? Cmon now. Guerrero has the punchers chance but Floyd got his pick, and he does a good job with those he picks. I think Floyd comes out aggressive and gets Robert out his game and comfort. Game over

If Guerrero fights physical like he did against Berto I expect a really tough fight for Floyd. Floyd doesn't use his legs anymore so he'll be there right in front of Guerrero all night. Now obviously floyd is light years above Berto and his inside game is , so Robert is going to get beat up too. Im expecting one of if not the most entertaining fight of floyds career. Its going to be a banger!

What?! All I'm saying is how I think the fight will go down. I see Floyd winning a decision or late TKO but its going to be a tough physical fight. This isn't Victoria Ortiz, Guerrero is a game fighter.
