I always considered X-Raided and Brotha Lynch to be gangsta rap. The first album from Black Market was X-Raided's Psycho Active, and even though he had some horror elements mixed in, it was more gangster. Even the title is a play on words referring to gang banging. The Siccness is spelled with double C's for a reason, and Raided himself said it stood for Sac Is Constantly Crippin' Nigga Every Single Season.
Real talk, I have no clue where all this horrorcore came from, gardens...but yea these days he is horrorcore....n to write his repetitive shit is beyond what his lyrical skill

sacramento siccness/ripgut rap is a sub-genre of horrorcore...it's gangsta rap mixed with horrorcore elements/horrorcore rap mixed with gangsta elements. Nothin more nothin less, cud. It is what it is.

you know anyone can edit wikipedia. I been listening to getpo boys since day one and bought everyone of they albums never was one they albums in the horrorcore section it was always in rap or gangsta rpa sections. Now bushwick bill mightve beeen horrorcore on some his solo shit but willie dennis and face wasnt

and thats why i didnt direct u to wikipedia lol...there are numerous different sources that refer to geto boys as horrorcore rap, and a lot of these sources credit geto boys as founding fathers for the genre. U know why u'll never find a source that considers brotha lynch gospel rap? Because he aint, and he has no ties to the genre.. Simple as that. They might not be full on horrorcore, but they sure do have a lot of horrorcore shit in their catalogue. Same goes for garvediggaz....

What i think u mean to say is that u dont like whiteboy horrorcore rap, and thats perfectly fine. I can see how someone would say lynch is incorporating a lot of that shit into his current style in order to cater to the strange music fans, but that still dont mean the gangsta/ripgut shit he used to be on back n the day aint a sub-genre of horrorcore.

thats not what i was saying but NO I dont like "WHITEBOY/JUGGALO HORRORCORE RAP" I just dont like weak weirdo, heroin head beyond believable type of music no matter what race. I never liked Esham, ICP, Twisted or non of that trash bc they tried way too hard.

I considered Gangsta NIP horrorcore but not the Geto Boys...maybe Bushwick was to a certain extent but nothing like todays standards
yeah Nip was Horrorcore then anything. and thats why hes out of a rap career now. He probaly either in jail, working a regular job, on dope or just plan washed up some where. yeah bushwick solo stuff was until he became christian.

rapping about killing someone is the easy topic to do honestly.

I just find it funny more than anything that some 20something year old who just started listening to rap in the last 10 years trying to tell someone who has been listening & heavily involved since the early 80's who is what & where everything originated.

Incisions @Incisions , STFU & soak game from cats that know instead of using internet links as your validity & arguments, cause you are wrong. Everyone reading this besides you & Mr. Mixxer knows you are wrong & we are laughing at you.
