Not much. Heard a song here and there but I never picked up on that. I think horrorcore rap is gay tho. Especially if its about fucking kids.

this board wouldn't exist if it werent for horrorcore rap....and while ive never been a fan of the juggalo style of horrorcore, the gangsta-ripgut shit has always been the go, and a staple of sacramento hip-hop.

Sacramento Siccness was never a style of horrorcore. You can go back to 97 on this board, and I bet you 90% of people who been on here since are not fans of Horrorcore. In fact I bet 85% of that 90% cant stand that gay ass shit.

what u talkin about? lynch, raided, cos, g-macc, loki, c-lim, zagg, g-macc, tall cann, first degree, etc all did that dark shit, and whether u wanna call it horrorcore or not, horrorcore=rap with a horror theme, so u can call it "ripgut", "sacramento siccness", or whatever u wanna call it, it still falls under horrorcore. that "siccness" shit is just an urban variation of horrorcore that goes way harder.
horror core is weak, pretty much why lynch sucks now...this 3 album trilogy...no bullshit is the same song over and over...nothing like eating people all day
i could see it back in the day it was more for a shock value but since than the horror core genre has grown into more and its all the same music....extreme violence with no real meaning...lynch at least had dope beats, lyrics and could tell stories ....

Lynch used to mix the rip gut with gangsta/reality based raps and he did it first with a style that was all his own and super dope..now its just like other homie said..same song over and over and over...and although i still love his old shit i cant feel this millenium lynch

I always considered X-Raided and Brotha Lynch to be gangsta rap. The first album from Black Market was X-Raided's Psycho Active, and even though he had some horror elements mixed in, it was more gangster. Even the title is a play on words referring to gang banging. The Siccness is spelled with double C's for a reason, and Raided himself said it stood for Sac Is Constantly Crippin' Nigga Every Single Season.
