Every average joe became good at it which makes it less enjoyable opposed to 10-20 years ago, no one is really being innovative anymore so they just bite the latest trend.

On top of that there is a ton of talent that is unheard and people won't move on from bland rappers like Eminem.

I think we just got old. What I hate about new rap is how everybody says "like" something. Fly like an airplane. Hot like fire. That kinda shit is dumb and lazy but kids think its awesome lyricism. People have whole verses of lines like that and it annoys me. Back in the day there was only a couple lines like that in a verse and it wasn't annoying.

i miss guys like woodie or a lot of other dudes, just telling their story. no image or some fake bullshit, just a dude tellin whats on his mind on a beat and you can relate to him. nowadays the stuff "rappers" tell, i can´t releate to. can´t imagine a rapper around 95-96 who was a former cop/prison guard and talkin bout gangsta shit. i love rap for the fact that every one who is rappin, can represent his lifestyle, hood or just in general his life. but nowadays is just like watchin wrestling or playin a videogame, some "superheroes" actin like this or that guy but cant feel it.
