as far as the gook term goes, i thought that was aimed towards vietnamese folks

I heard back in the day the gook term started in the Korean war because the way Koreans actually say Korea is Hangook so the Murican soldiers started calling the Koreans gooks, then the dumbasses in the Vietnam war just kinda brought it with for some reason even though calling a Vietnamese person a gook is like calling a Colombian a wetback.

Yeah it started in korea but evolved to chinese too.
