So because May missed his weigh in by 2 pounds he always has and advantage? U act like there werent other fighters who missed weight. Sometimes it happens. I still think missing weight by 2 pounds isnt as bad as blowing up 20 pounds the next day of the fight. Neither is right and there should be sumthin done about it. Mayweather doesnt always have the advantage though. He moved up twice to 154 to fight Dela Hoya & Cotto and was at a disadvantage in both fights and both fights were kinda tough but he showed heart to do it and still won both fights. Got Em!!
I GAVE you examples of other fighters who couldn't make weight, so I obviously know May isn't the only fighter to ever miss weight. And he always has the advantage, the difference is it's not always weight that's the advantage...it is what it is though, he's the big payday and motherfuckers gotta do what he says to get paid. If you don't agree with that, I dunno what to tell ya...

Schaefer has asked to reserve the dates of May 4th and September 14th - the two most lucrative pay-per-view dates in boxing (Cinco de mayo weekend & Mexican independence weekend) - for Mayweather.

This must mean two Mexican opponents - Guerrero, then Canelo.

I wish Floyd would at least wait till this weekend and see if Pac wins, and if so, try to work something out at least.

I thought May wanted to fight in Feb? Anyway that would be a cool double header for him and then I would probably hang it up. I know he wants to retire at 37 so by that time he should be close to that anyway. Got Em!!

Lol manny got rios lined up win lose or draw.
Actually if Marquez wins then I think he will fight Rios. Got Em!!

Styles make fights. Marquez isn't going to suddenly do better cuz hes more ripped. He's a counter puncher, he shines when people come to him so he can time his counter shots. Floyd will always be a stylistic nightmare for Marquez.

Guerrero vs Floyd should happen next.

I'm about 200 pages into the book about Charley Burley since finals ended for this semester and it's crazy how everyone seemed to fight everyone no matter how many losses or wins they had against one another. Not pointing out anyone specific just nuts how different the mentality of the sports world is in general from those days.

Anyway Mayweather doesn't need a tune up fight, he's Floyd Mayweather. Guerrero should have to win another fight at a decent weight, even though he looked impressive against Berto. I'd like to see a fight with him and Canelo, or another one with him and Marquez, if only for the fact that Marquez deserves that payday more than any other fighter out there. End of his career, finally got the win that plagued his career and did so in the most vicious fashion possible. At least he'd be somewhat used to fighting at a bigger weight now.

I'm sure most would disagree but I'd like to see a fight with him and Bradley as well, another guy that's at least earned his crack at Mayweather.

Life and death with Cotto but yet Cotto only won 3-4 rounds at best against Mayweather. lol Manny should've taking the $40 million May 5th 2012, or the 50/50 split 2009.

I wouldn't mind seeing Mayweather fight.

Bradley
The Ghost
Canelo
Marquez
Martinez even thou he's too big for Floyd

I don't care about how much money any of them make. I'd still like to see them fight each other no matter what's happened. I've always thought Mayweather wins clean but it's a fight that should've happen and it'd be a shame years from now to never have that fight take place. I wouldn't mind anyone on bigface's list save for Guerrero right now, I'd like to see Guerrero at least once more at welter and I'd still have Pacquiao on my list.

What fight were u watching? Floyd played with Cotto. Just because he let Cotto hit him on the ropes a few times for the fans dont mean he was in a tough fight. Dude won 3 rounds period and got schooled. The fight wasnt even close. Mayweather helped Cotto look good at times because he wasnt scared of Cotto's punching power. Why wouldnt Manny fight Cotto at 154 like Floyd? Cotto wouldve knocked Manny out trust me. Manny only wants catchweights and he damn sure didnt want to see Money in the ring because he wouldve looked like a fool. Got Em!!

Let's say Floyd fought Pac in Pacs next fight and beat the shit out of him, he WON'T get the credit for it. People would say Pac was washed up, old, coming off two losses, etc.
U got that right! Its pointless for Floyd to even fight him now? Manny had his chance and now if Im Floyd Im offering 10 mill and no PPV revenue hahahahahha. Got Em!!
