If Kobe plays until he's 38 years old and averages 25+ points per game he will pass up Kareem and be the #1 scorer of all time.

Also lol @ 5 of the top 6 scorers of all time have been Lakers at one point or another in their career.

Metta World Peace made a three-pointer in the fourth quarter to reach 12,000 points. He is the sixth player in league history to reach 12,000 points, 4,000 rebounds, 1,000 3-point field goals, and 1,500 steals. He is the sixth player to reach that feat. He joins Paul Pierce, Jason Kidd, Gary Payton, Reggie Miller, and current teammate Kobe Bryant.

Kobe changed his jersey number in 2006

I always wondered why he changed it to #24, could it be to one up Jordan or hint he was the next Jordan? Jersey sales increasing by switching to a new jersey? Start fresh after Shaq left and his case in Colorado had been closed?

Either way it sucked when it happened, number 8 was the shit. Also sucked when he got rid of the fro that shit was dope.
