.. and if we're considering Demarco's performance against Valero "pretty good" let's hope he doesn't do terrible against Broner. I couldn't even imagine that kind of beating.

Broner is the real deal, he beat the brakes off Demarco. He actually lives up to the hype. LOL. I guess the haters have to wait until next fight to discredit the guy he's fighting next. lol

I think Broner should move up in weight, noone left to fight and looks a little big for that division. He definitely looked real good tonight but against someone that wasn't capable of throwing much in return and had no movement lol. Seems like Broner just stood in the middle of the ring most of the fight, didnt have to move around much at all

he really didn't have to move much at all, that's why I thought demarco fought like an idiot. I think it was round 3 broner kept nailing him so you'd think demarco would try to box a little, use his long jab but nope lol he just ducks his head in front of broner and allows to get teed off on. foolish.

broner can probably stay at 135 for another fight or two but like u said no one is there. stylistically the only guy there that can give him some problems is Richard Abril, other than that there's nothing unless Gamboa campaigns there.

crushed !

goes to show doesn't matter how big strong and athletic you are, u just can't reach the top if u start boxing in ur mid 20s, can't be done.
Martinez did start pretty late though and look where he is at? Got Em!!

Good shit dog! Broner destroyed DeMarco. DeMarco thought he could go toe to toe with The Problem haha. Who's next! We are watching greatness in the making! Got Em!!

lol. At drunk ass Larry Merchant trying to find anything to hate on Broner about, his hater ass didn't even know about pink for breast cancer. He was mad that he couldn't hate on Broner after the fight. Just like I said a year ago Broner would KO Bum bum Rios and Gamboa if he fights anyone of them.

Broner's inside fighting, body punching, defense, punching power, and fast hands are problems for anyone he fights going forward.

martinez turned pro at age 20 I think, but he did have 40 something amateur fights. This was back in 1995 when he started boxing and it took him a long time to get where he's at now.

Mitchell didn't put on a pair of boxing gloves till he was 25, 6 years ago. I just think it's too late for him. You can see not only does he have a lot of defensive flaws and he makes a lot of mistakes but anytime he gets hit clean he gets hurt. I really like Mitchell and hope he can bounce back but I don't see it happening unfortunately.

Why doesnt Merchant just retire already. It takes dude 5 minutes to say a sentence and its very annoying. Foo's gon hate but Broner gon dominate! Got Em!!

I thought he first started fighting at 21? Anyway I aint saying he will or wont bounce back, but just that starting late doesnt mean u cant be successful especially if u have the talent like a Martinez. Do u think Banks can beat either of the Khlitchko's? Thats funny if he fights the one he just trained. Got Em!!

25 is so late though. I mean he never put on a pair of boxing gloves till almost 25. I can't think of any former champions that started that late.

Martinez turned pro at 21 but he had fought as an amateur for couple of years. He had an amateur record of 39-2 before turning pro.

Banks isn't that good of a fighter so nah, I think either Klit would knock him out pretty quick.

How does Broner get away with using his left forearm, elbow and shoulder as a weapon in that shell defense? How do refs not see that shit?

Other then that I have no issue with his skills in the ring, dude is the real deal.

Ok. Just got done watching the fights......

First thing first.....Banks taught a big semi-skilled fighter a lesson. He dropped that big boy 3 times. That was awesome and I couldn't believe what I was watching. That was a good fight.

No surprise with the Broner fight. I agree to some extent about the elbow defense, but hey the kid uses it with perfection. He even took a good right from demarco in round 1. Broner is everything he is hyped or hyped himself to be. Demarcos team wanted to stop that fight after the 4th lol. Demarco is just too Mexican for his own good! (And I'm Mexican)

Broner is dope, not a fan of his but his boxing game is on point. He's going to be a factor for a long time. Glad to see him and Canelo being up to the task of carrying the torch once Mayweather, Cotto, Marquez, Pacquiao, Martinez, etc... retire.

Huh? U can block with whatever u want as long as u dont hit no one with an elbow, shoulder etc...Its a hard defense to learn/do and he has mastered it just like Mayweather did. There is nuthin illegal about it. U think he would get away with it if it were legal? Even the announcers never complain about it. I dont see what u are getting at? Got Em!!

I think it was the 3rd round, he flung the elbow and it almost his Demarco, but it was in pure defense mode. Nothing intentional.

Broner is so fast it's ridiculous.

Trust me if he hits someone with his elbow he will be called out for it and whatever consequences come with that. Im sure he has never hit anyone with his elbow though. Got Em!!
