Matthysse might be the harding punching dude in boxing. Plus he has sneaky boxing skills and great body work. Garcia vs. Matthysse or Peterson vs. Matthysse. I still can't believe Judah made it out of that fight. Matthysse learned a lot losing to Devon, because since then he's starting earlier and not giving away rounds.

Matthysse should be undefeated. He won both of those fights he lost in my book. Got Em!!

No he shouldn't be undefeated he lose both fights against Devon and Judah because he started actually fighting too late. You can't give away all the early rounds or all the championship rounds (ask Manny) and won a close fight. Matthysse is a better fighter because of those loses, now his on your ass all fight no more giving up rounds.

We can agree to disagree but he won those fights in my book. All judges decisions arent always right and Im sure u know that. It counts but doesnt mean they are always correct. Got Em!!

Matthysse loss both them fights! especially the zab judah one, he gave up the first half of the damn fight
Again I disagree. Regardless whats done is done. I wish he would fight Alexander again because he would beat the breaks off dude this time around. Judah isnt even worth mentioning. Got Em!!

I thought he beat Alexander. judah was really close. luckily for both of them they were only ten round fights or they both wouldn't have finished 12 rounds.
Agreed. Got Em!!

Lol alexander would beat matthysse worse at 147 (just like he did maidana), maybe stop him imo. And zab judah is still a big problem for anyone at 140, he will give peterson a hard test. Judah is far from done ! I like to watch matthysse go at it, just not sold on him yet

Alexander won that fight other then the knockdown by Matthysse, Devon won more rounds 6-4 for Devon he won rounds 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, and 10. At 147lb Devon is a new man. I want to see him vs Bailey.

Matthysse can be outboxed Devon and Judah proved that. Matthysse will KO you out if you bang with him. But evey fight Matthysse is getting better as a fighter. Matthysse vs. Peterson would be good.

great 9th round both guys rocked

oh wait I forgot naner doesn't post here anymore I'm talking to myself haha

::edit:: the Cuban survived and won a narrow decision. Ross imo let the fight away with his inactivity after the beating he dished out in round 5. Props to Hernandez for surviving and boxing his way through it.

Good win for Rigondeaux last night. Marroquin is a fine fighter and will have a great career. In case anyone missed it, Marroquin beat Broner & Gary Russell jr. in the amatuers.

Now, Rignodeaux did get rocked twice in the fight and I'm sure a lot of people thought the fight was boring, which wont do him any favors in trying to secure a big fight. Is Rigo perfect? Nope, he may be a bit chiny. But god damn is he a difficult style to beat. Honestly, I don't know if Rigo could handle a left hook from Donaire anymore. If he got rocked from left hands from Marroquin, I reckon a Donaire left would do some serious damage if not knock him out. But Marroquinon Rigo is the difficult part.

I just haven't had much time to do anything, went back to school full time trying to get my masters since work is paying for it and really haven't had much time to do much else but work and school. Haven't seen 10% of the fights that have happened recently unfortunately not sure when's the last time I've logged in to WBVA or BT.

Hernandez seems to get himself in trouble plenty and get up to fight well. May try to check it out later, would love to see him fight Huck.

It trips me out that I stop watching for a minute and guys like Nishioka & Golovkin are getting big fights on HBO. Good to see that. I've always given Nishioka tons of credit since taking a fight with a guy like Gonzalez in Mexico when he didn't have to, and ruined him with one punch.

Did anyone see Edwin beat the breaks off Escalera? Dude needs to not wear that Jason mask anymore because he is making my dude look bad haha. U cant come into the ring with a Jason mask on and get mollywhopped lol. Also Perez showed he is a fraud and got mopped himself. I loved the fight in between. Del Valle proved his heart and I think he will do some good things in the future despite taking an ass whoopin. He almost got the knock out but Raging Bull is a beast in the way that he fights. Great night of boxing we had. Got Em!!
