damn Golovkin is a beast. not only did he stop proska but he knocked him down three times and proska has never been knocked down in his life going back to when he was a kid. and he did it with ease. I hope he gets martinez chavez winner.
Dudse is very scary! Watchout for this cat real talk. They said he would fight anyone from 154 (Mayweather) up to 168 (Ward) and make the fight now! Thats beastin. Got Em!!

and felix sturm was defeated by Geale in Germany last night! the Germans actually gave the decision to the foreigner for a change.

golovkin was supposed to be sturms mandatory but somehow sturm got away with ducking golovkin at least twice now. I believe golovkin will now be Geales mandatory.

Not sold on Golovkin yet would love to see him and Kid Chocolate go at it. Proska was not a good fighter at all dude was slow as hell trying to fight with his hands down. Golovkin has some damn good boxing skills and punching power. I will be watching him fight for damn sure.

FYI, Go watch Golovkin vs past prime 154lb Kassim Ouma. Golovkin is very easy to hit dude better clean up his defense if he wants Froch, Ward, or Chavez Jr vs. Martinez winner, because he will get hurt. Golovkin makes me think of Bute time will tell.

Proska is a pretty good fighter Golovkin simply made him look bad. Proska would give most guys at 160 problems. Kid Chocolate would be a dope fight, in fact Peter said on twitter he wants to make the fight early 2013 (assuming he wins his upcoming fight).

FYI, Go watch Golovkin vs past prime 154lb Kassim Ouma.
Ouma gives just about anyone problems, even past prime. Remember he arguably beat Vanes just prior. But in the end Golovkin put a serious beating on Ouma which sent him to the hospital for a couple of days.

I think he's too small for 168. I know he said he's willing to fight anyone from 154 to 168 but I don't think that means he should. He can be hit but he has a sturdy chin (never dropped as a pro or amateur and reportedly sparring). He apparently beat up Canelo pretty good in sparring 6 months ago or so and they had to take him out, wouldn't let him go at Canelo anymore.

Golovkin makes me think of Bute time will tell.
Hmm, how so? I don't see the similarities at all.

But here is a video of Golovkin knocking out Bute:

He also beat Andre Dirrell that same year.

Golovkin needs to step it up and fight someone good. A win against Ouma in 2011 means nothing plus add in the fact Ouma was hitting you clear all fight till the end, I mean Jermain Taylor in 2006 beat up a prime Ouma and everyone gave him shit for it. Vanes is fighting Lara so we will know the deal with both of them soon. Just like Broner, Russell Jr..etc.. Golovkin needs to fight someone good to really test his skills.. Beating Dirrell with head gear on really means something in the pro's?? Bute knocked out a lot of C - B level guys and step up against a old Johnson and didn't look good, then Froch Ko'ed him like nothing. Like I said I will be watching dude because he has real good offensive skills and good power.

you can't fault golovkin for being ducked. felix sturm avoided him for two years which was embarrassing to see the levels he went to.

dmitry pirog was the original opponent but apparently he suffered a serious back injury and will be out till mid to late 2013.

now of course golovkin still has something to prove but like u say the man has skills.

I do put some stock in amatuer fights especially when its against top amateur fighters. knocking out bute and beating dirrell imo tells me he's a lot more than a power puncher with no defense. dirrell was an amazing amatuer so it took skills to beat him. that doesn't mean he beats him today, but again it shows us his ability to beat different kinds of fighters.

apparently he beat the breaks off of Angulo in sparring some months ago. I remember an article in The Ring about it. I don't see that as a competitive fight at all tbh.

Golovkin is 5'10 which is a pretty standard height for 160. Martinez I believe is 5'10.

Very impressed by GGG. He's 30 years old, I think some of these fighters might want to hide out til he's past his prime, cuz he seems like the type to end some careers.

Olusegun is a great showman, he has a way of winning off the crowd, he puts on a show. Matthysse has the power on his side, if he cant land a big punch it will be a long night for him cause Olusegun will box him. this is a close fight, cant wait

Matthyse still impressive, I still think he takes it to almost everyone in the 140 lb. division.

Ajose also could be a force in the division if he tightened up his game, he's durable as fuck that's for sure with a difficult style and like the commentators were saying he was partially slipping a lot of Matthyse's punches, he was almost coming on in the later rounds too before the stoppage which I felt was a little premature also.

I read that Khan tweeted something like "Is this the matthyse who lost to zab judah, who I beat" or some bullshit along those lines.

In other news. The fans were cheated out of a fight with the Molina / Demarco. In the 1st round they should've gave Molina a standing 8 and let him continue. Antonio demarco is still a beast and would be a good test for Broner, if he Problem and Guerrero don't make somthing happen
