Manny weighted in at 148lb on fight night his last fight. Mayweather fought Cotto at 151lb. I'm sick of people acting like Manny is so small, he's the same damn size as Mayweather. He can fight Cotto at 154lb and just like Mayweather he doesn't have to weight in at 154lb. A healthy Bradley with superfight experience now would beat Manny clearer the second time around. Marquez is 40 yrs old I don't want to see a fourth fight just to make Manny look good.

Beat him clearer?

I thought you said you scored the fight a draw.

Sorry bruh, I would bet the farm that deep inside, Bradley knows he lost that fight. He looked like the most surprised one when the decision was read.

I would love nothing more than to see that fluke of a decision exposed for what it really was: A robbery.

HBO not interested in Judah-Peterson bout, but are interested in Broner-TBA
August 16th, 2012

By Dan Ambrose: Steve Kim is reporting that HBO isn’t interested in televising a fight between IBF light welterweight champion Lamont Peterson and former two division world champion Zab Judah, but they are interested in televising a fight between former WBO super featherweight champion Adrien Broner against TBA.

That doesn’t really make a lot of sense because the chances are Broner’s next fight on October 6th will be yet another mismatch involving him against some poor sap at lightweight, who will could have a weight disadvantage against Broner. There are reports that Broner is having a hard time trying to find an opponent for his October 6th date among the lightweight contenders in the division. Broner is now desperate enough to openly start considering opponents from light welterweight and welterweight divisions.

A Judah vs. Peterson fight would be a good one if Peterson can get a boxing license from the Nevada State Athletic Commission. That’s a big if because chances are he could get rejected after testing positive for synthetic testosterone. I doubt that Peterson will get the licensing, but if he does it would be disappointing that HBO won’t televise his fight against Judah.

HBO needs to be a little more discerning about the specific fights that they agree to involving Broner, because they’ve been showing fights of his that were mismatches on paper and they proved to be just as much a mismatch in the ring. HBO should have never agreed to Broner’s fights against Vicente Escobedo, Vicente Martin Rodriguez and Eloy Perez, because they had mismatch written all over them. Broner’s fights against Daniel Ponce De Leon and Jason Litzau were at least good fights on paper going into the fights.

Judah vs. Peterson could be a very good fight and I’m surprised that HBO doesn’t televise this bout. I can sort of understand their reluctance given the iffy situation with Peterson’s licensing with the Nevada State Athletic Commission as well as the controversy and taint surrounding Peterson’s positive test for synthetic testosterone. However, if Peterson is able to get his boxing license then I don’t see any reason why HBO wouldn’t show his fight because it will be a great fight. It’s not as if the casual boxing fans have any memory or idea of what Peterson just went through with his positive drug test, although I imagine the HBO analysts would likely clue in the audiences to what happened.

Broner: I will expose all the kinks in Robert Guerrero’s armor
August 16th, 2012

By Scott Gilfoid: Lightweight contender Adrien Broner (24-0, 20 KO’s) is open to the idea of facing WBC welterweight interim champion Robert Guerrero if Golden Boy Promotions wants to make this fight between their two fighters in the same stable. However, Broner doesn’t see Guerrero as being a threat to him, and feels he’d expose him badly if given the chance.

Broner told RingTV “He [Guerrero] has never really showed me anything special…He’s ordinary. If that fight ever happens, man, I will expose all the kinks in his armor, man. It would be a fun night.”

It would be interesting to see if Golden Boy Promotions would be willing to make that fight. My guess is no. They have a big hope that they can somehow persuade WBC welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. into fighting Guerrero, but they can forget about that fight happening if Broner totally schools Guerrero and exposes him worse than Orlando Salido did in his victory over Guerrero in 2006. I think Broner would make the slow-handed, weak punching Guerrero look bad in beating him. I believe that Broner could knock him out if he were able to land some of his big shots with pin point accuracy. Had Selcuk Aydin had any accuracy and if he had throw a steady amount of shots, he would have taken Guerrero out earlier this month.

It’s too bad Golden Boy won’t make the Guerrero-Broner fight because the boxing public would love to see a fight like this. Short of a better opponent being found for Broner at welterweight or light welterweight, Guerrero would serve the purpose of being a good stay busy fight for Broner.

I don't think Broner really believes that.
He's probably just saying that knowing they won't make the fight.
Stylistically that would be horrible for him, and extremely boring for the fans and not worth Broner losing his 0 over.
Ghost would keep him on the outside for all 12.

Really? I recall Bradley being carried around the ring with his hands raised (before the scores were announced) like he won the fight. Cut the crap!

Broner just recently faced a B level fighter.
The last time he fought an A rated fighter in De Leon (past his prime at that) he got mugged.

Now he's going to jump up a division or two and beat a title holder?

Broner would look like a little kid trying to get his milk money back.

What title does the Ghost have?? Go watch Gamboa vs. Ponce De Leon and you will see that Gamboa had a hard time with dude just like Broner until the cut stoppage. And Gamboa fought Ponce after Broner. And lastly their is nothing I mean nothing impressive about anything that the Ghost has done his whole career that will show me that he would blow out anyone with boxing skills.

lets have broner beat a legit fighter at 135/140 before saying he beats anyone at 147.
Tell The Ghost that. Got Em!!

He fought four months ago cuntface and he's not 40.

We already went over this. If we went by the judges scorecards Bam Bam Rios schooled Abril, Paul Williams beat down Lara and Shannon Briggs beat George Foreman. :dead:

JMM vs Pac 3 did 1.41 million buys and did astronomical numbers in Mexico.

Bradley vs Pac did under 1 million buys. (900,000 or possibly less?)

Excuses? Quit with that nonsense I don't want to see another JMM fight. I want a bradley rematch so Pac can get the belt that was stolen from him. My argument, which is pretty simply but obviously too hard for your little brain to comprehend is that JMM is a tougher fight stylistically for Pac than Bradley. Everyone knows this but you and tony it seems.
I think you're the one that has a comprehending problem. No one gives a fuck about Marquez vs. Manny 4. How are you going to sell this fight to the casual fans? The fans already know what's going to happen. I think with the hate that the Manny fans have for Bradley beating Manny, it would be a easier sell to the public. You sell the fight by saying Manny is going to leave no questions for judges this time and he's going knockout Bradley. And Bradley can play the bad guy this time and get the dick riders like yourself to hate him even more. Now can your small dickrider brain lock on to that idea. I really don't think Bradley or Marquez will sell big numbers. Manny has Cotto 2 or Mayweather if he wants big money.

Marquez and Bradley are both bad style wise for Pacquiao. Bradley beat Pacquiao period, Marquez didn't after 3 tries, and that's a fact! Bradley is going to beat Pacquiao again, that's what all his fans are worried about.

He fought for a vacant interim WBC title.
He just jumped 2 divisions in one shot. Not a bad title to get with a leap like that.

I don't care about Gamboa.
He's 5'5 126lb.

hasn't done anything impressive? Ghost beat Katsidis.
I'd take a 1-0 resume with Katsidis on it than Boners 23-0 grocery list.

If Katsidis is the only big win on your resume then you're not a very good fighter and you have done nothing to be calling out the big dogs.. The Ghost fought to be the number one contender for the WBC belt, that dude is not no champion at 147lb. lol..

So basically beating Katsidis means you aren't a very good fighter? You keep upping the bar.

I can only imagine what fighting 22 no namers then get roughed up by an old timer means.
I don't think you comprehend the fact that Boner has fought NO ONE. I don't know why that is such a hard concept to grasp. He just talks a big game.

There is a huge different between being a good fighter and fighting people that aren't well known.
These are all good fighters. Just because someone isn't top 5 doesn't mean they aren't good.

So then let Boner pack on 12 pounds and fight Guerrero.
Bet you he won't...

lol. Let me give you something to think about.

Litzaz Top 10 super featherweight
Perez Top 10 super featherweight Broner was going to fight Ricky Burns but Burns moved up to bum ass Katsidis at 135lb.
Escobedo at guy that the Ghost won a 10 round UD against and Broner play with and Ko'ed in 5 rounds.

Why Broner gets so much props is because he is KO'ing all these guys not winning boring ass UD's against guys like the Ghost. There is not one fight that I've watched of the Ghost that makes me think he is elite in any shape form or fashion.

Gamboa won every round - 8-0. He totally shut down Ponce De Leon. The three judges had it 80-72, 80-72 and 79-73. ESPN.com also had it 80-72, i.e a complete shutout.

Gamboa also fought Ponce at 126 pounds (not 130).

Now go back to making up stories.

man you are such a moron. smh

Marquez has a big mexican following, he's a big star. Now again, I'm IN FAVOR of the bradley fight (I don't want to see marquez 4) but marquez-pac would likely do better numbers than bradley, period. Shouldn't take a rocket scientist to figure this out (1.41 million buys vs ~900,000). Casual fans already saw Pacquiao beat Bradley, not everyone is going to be interested in watching it again.
