It's time to fire or demote Tom Cable!

My bad, you all are right. The team went 3-4 after Russell was benched. I don't think Tom Cable should be fired because he may have stuck with Russell a bit too long. Cable took on a load of responsibility and the players seem to like him more than Kiffin. I say give him another year with a different qb. Cable is saying we're going to be a playoff team next year, so he's setting the expectations high. He needs a little help with the play calling though. So I think he should be brought back as our head coach next year.
As for Russell it's time to move on! He has the physical tools but you need more than physical tools to be a successful qb in the NFL. He hasn't shown the dedication needed from a franchise qb that's being paid millions of dollars. And if your 2nd and 3rd string qb's come in and put up better numbers then something is wrong.

I know man.... I just say what I feel/think at the time. I've been wrong a lot this past year but that's how it goes with predictions. Yeah, DHB made me look like a damn fool. I thought he would drop a slant pass or two here and there (which receiver doesn't) but that game against K.C. sealed the deal on him.
If I was on his nuts then why would I create a thread stating "It's time to fire or demote Cable"?

constant changes at head coach will not make the raiders a good football team all of a sudden.
they need a program in place and work from there. cable is pretty conservative being a o-line specialist, raider fans better hope tom can start turn it around, because hes been about the best solution that works with Al in the last few years....

DHB is nowhere near where he should be....with his draft pick status he won't be shut until he dwarfs Louis Murphy in stats....and it doesn't look like that'll happen anytime soon.....BUT I love the way DHB has acted and has turned around his performance. I hope he plays up to his first round pick status, but I won't hold my breath. Louis Murphy was our best draft pick last year
DMc is playing well this year so i dont think you can call him a bust yet.....he's shown flashes so far of possibly being that player everyone thought he was coming out of college....DHB is improving but IMO he wont ever live up to the expectations of his draft spot....
the real question is WTF is wrong with the Defense?? we cant just keep getting run on like that....its not a good look at all....It's pretty hard to be 11th in total Defense and 31st against the run....
