Floyd ain't ducking nobody 206, Floyd puts money first. That's why they call him Money Mayweather. If he was that much of a ducker, then he wouldn't have fought Oscar De La Hoya or Sugar Shane. You can't be a ducker and get paid like Mayweather is getting broke off.

The resto case was far worse.

For one, it wasn't just plaster, the padding in the glove was actually removed completely.

Second, resto actually got in the ring and beat the shit out of the guy. Margarito never stepped foot in the ring with loaded gloves.
not defending panama but come on resto looks like he will say anything for a dollar bill if I was panama I would go to the boxing commission and be like where's the proof and why would you believe an drug abuser

They already proved it hence the lifetime ban for them both. I don't know what Panama could possible argue at this point.

I agree resto is a crackhead and will say anything for a buck, but the only thing he admitted since is that there was something in the water bottle (for the Aron Pryor fight) and that he knew the gloves were loaded. None of that is up for debate though. It's already proven Panama loaded his gloves.

Really? So a vacation makes more money for Floyd then fighting Pacquiao?

Your logic does not compute, please try again.

If he was that much of a ducker, then he wouldn't have fought Oscar De La Hoya or Sugar Shane.
hehehehehe, Oscar wasn't a big gamble homie. He fought one time in three years before stepping in the ring with Floyd.

Shane was 38 years old. Good win, no one is taking that away, but he's not the same type of threat as fighting Pacquiao obviously.

Also, floyd chose to retire rather than fight Margarito and/or Miguel Cotto. Let's not forget about that.

I read an article today from 2006 when Floyd was to fight Baldimor, the author wrote Baldy was a good first step, but it will mean something when he fights Cotto and Margarito. Still waiting....

You seriously believe Cotto or Margarito posed a threat to Mayweather?

Sugar Shane was more of a threat to Mayweather than Pacquiao is.

Shane has more experience, more power, and is bigger and stronger than Pacquiao and was the champ of the WW division. The only two things that Pacquiao has on Shane is youth and speed. I don't see how he was not the same type of theat, seriously.

Man, you suck completely at understanding points. It doesn't even matter if one believes Floyd would whoop cotto, margarito or whomever. The point is he's not fighting them. He didn't fight Margarito when he was at the top of the division. He didn't fight Cotto when he was at the top of the division. And there was a huge demand from boxing fans for him to fight. Instead, he "retired."

Sugar Shane was more of a threat to Mayweather than Pacquiao is.
This is why I sometimes question your boxing IQ. You honestly think that 38 year old Shane was a bigger threat to Floyd then a prime, pound 4 pound #1 fighter in the world Manny Pacquiao? ::::smh::::

Shane has more experience, more power, and is bigger and stronger than Pacquiao and was the champ of the WW division.
Shane is also a lot older, got out boxed by Miguel Cotto (who pac destroyed) and didn't look very good for several years until beating Margarito. Shane also had about a year and half layoff.

The only two things that Pacquiao has on Shane is youth and speed.
Youth, speed AND what else? Combination punching. STAMINA. Throwing from all angles. Unpredictable fighting technique. SOUTHPAW.

lmao @ you tony

I don't see how he was not the same type of theat, seriously.
Watch floyd's fights against southpaws and tell me he didn't struggle.

who cares he fought shane's conqueror in miguel cotto.

Anyways, breaking news - floyd stays fucking up:

Floyd Mayweather Jr. Suspect in Domestic Violence

Multiple cop cars from the Las Vegas Metro Police Department showed up at Mayweather's home early this morning. We're told cops received a call at 5:03 AM from Floyd's baby mama, Josie Harris, who claimed the boxer attacked her.

Sources tell TMZ Harris went to Southern Hills Hospital in Las Vegas at some point after the incident and has now left.

Law enforcement sources say police were unable to find Floyd and are now looking to interview him.

Cops want to speak to Floyd before determining if they will arrest him.

The photo above was taken at one of Floyd's homes in Vegas moments ago.

We're told Harris is going to court today to get a restraining order against Mayweather.

In 2003 Harris accused Mayweather of punching and kicking her inside a Bentley in Vegas. Charges were filed but dismissed in 2005 after Harris testified she lied to cops because she was angry that Floyd had left her for another woman.

Story developing...

Erik Morales: 'Talks To Fight Marquez are Very Advanced'

By Alfredo Jaime Gómez, notifight.com

Before dozens of reporters, television cameras and photographers, Erik "Terrible" Morales met Scottish boxer Willie Limond, his opponent this Saturday in the Plaza de Toros Mexico. The crowd was so big that it was almost impossible to interview the former triple world champion after the press conference, which was attended by the leading contenders for the evening.

Morales told the grateful crowd "It is an honor and pride to take part in the Bicentennial celebration. I've had a great training camp. First up is Limond and then we'll think of other opponents."

Erik, can you make 135 pounds for a possible match against Humberto Soto?

"I would try, but the talks for a fight against Juan Manuel Marquez are very advanced".

What do you think Limond?

"I have over 10 years in title fights and I do not think he can beat me."

Do you have an advantage due to age?

"It is not always so convenient to test yourself against a young fighter. I want to win a fourth world title in a different division and we have to beat who they put in front of me."

With so many media gatherings to publicize the event, will you be there at 100%?

"Physically and technically, of course yes, but I know I can keep getting better."

Asked whether he will seek fourth fight against Manny Pacquiao:

"I'm going step by step and will try to go down to lightweight

well, obviously I don't know what happened and if these reports are true or not, but she is his baby's mama so I assume she's always going to be somewhat involved in his life.

Floyd Mayweather can't be beat.... Pacquiao can't do it, his baby momma can't do it. I wonder what Pacquiao excuse is going to be after he gets beat up like Floyd's baby momma did...... the blood test? Pacquiao already has that built in excuse.
