In my opinion it is. That tells you how good he plays when everything is on the line. Playoff wins and SuperBowl wins.
You act as if Ben was the only one out there to win the game. The fact that he had the #1 Defense in the league had nothing to do with it?

Get the fuck outta here with that nonsense. Hes not hall of fame ready.

Whipe that cum off your lip before you leave too.

EDIT- I'd love to stay and help ya FATAL but these dudes are too cock happy and itll never get through their thickheads.

Was that number one defense on the field when the Steelers were on their winning drive? Yep that defense was on the sidelines hoping Big Ben would bail them out. That number one defense just had given up the lead when Fitzgerald ran through their secondary like Jerry Rice. That number one defense gave up over 300 yards passing and 3 TD's to Kurt. Big Ben is a hall of fame qb so stop hatin' and talking nasty.

Ben has accomplished so much at such a young age and has gotten the hard part done. That's winning two Super Bowls already! As long as he stays healthy and continues to play the way he has, he'll definitely get in the Hall Of Fame with no question. All of his scrambling, breaking tackles and extending plays doesn't always show up in the stats. So for you square ass stat nerds, your argument is squashed! Again, Big Ben already has two championships and that's more than some Hall Of Fame QB's who wished that had... :classic:

I'm surprised no one brought up that Rookie of the Year thing.

Or the fact that Rookie quarterbacks aren't expected to play at all. And quarterbacks in their 3rd year are supposed to start getting good.

This dude enters the NFL like NO ONE else at the QB position.

Then he wins a SB (with a good defense), sets the Steelers TD records, wins another SB (that was ALL him - you should have watched him play behind that O-Line all season), and now halfway through the season he has 14 TDs, 70% accuracy, and 2000+ yards. His accuracy over the years is off the hook. And he has more comeback wins than any other QB in the last 5 years.

So it comes down to this: either you've actually watched him play and you know what you're talking about, or you spent your time watching Alex Smith/JaMarcus Russel/Matt Leinart/Matt Hasselbeck, and haven't had time to watch a good QB.

Watching that game last night against a very good Bronco defense, made me bring this thread back up. Big Ben turns the ball over for a TD and then on the next drive it only took 4 plays before he drives his team down field to score a TD to make up for the mistake.... and he threw right at Champ Bailey in the process. One game doesn't make a qb a hall of famer, but Big Ben does it again. He'll make a crucial mistake and then bring his team right back.

he has only played 5 years. he hasnt put up numbers like elway or montana. but he has 2 rings. there is an arguement but remember, the hall of fame is about what YOU do as a player. team accolades are bonus points. i.e. super bowls and play off wins and division titles. but what you do a s a player makes you a hof'er.

if he plays another 8-10 years and makes the playoffs 6-7 more times int hat span and stays on his average numbers. i could see it. but if he blows a knee next season he aint getting in.

It's not like this subject matters right now anyways. He's still got some good years left in his career, and add how long it takes to get nominated to get inducted into the HOF. So this subject really isn't neccessary right now. Everyone knows he's a good QB, and is on the right path to become a great QB, and possible HOF'er. I am not arguing that he isn't a possible candidate, just saying it's a little too early to be discussing it. Might as well make a Peyton Manning HOF thread while we're at it.

^Peyton is already a lock for the HOF, so there is no need. Who ever thinks Peyton Manning wouldn't make it to the HOF need their head checked.

Now Big Ben is locked too. He's already won 2 SuperBowls and his winning percentage as a starting qb can't be topped. He's a winner and a Hall of Famer.

You're right. I just think as Steeler fans we feel slighted at times because Roethilsberger doesn't get the recognition he has earned and we watch what he does game after game and feel like we need to state his case for him..

Ben's time will come. At the end of his career, he'll hold up a hand full of rings and there will be no keeping him out..
