I never said u called him a beast...I was more referring to what alot of other Raider fans in this thread have beensaying....I totally agrre with ur second paragraph.
I'm nowhere near sold on McFadden as an elite back in Oakland. Not because of him, but because of the parts around him. We have issues at QB. We have issues on the line. We don't have any issues at WR, because you actually have to have a WR to have an issue with them. At least Seattle has an excuse...

I love McFadden's talent and work rate; hopefully Al can die so we can put some good pieces around him.

I don't think Justin Fargas is a great back; never said so. But you've also said he was only good in the second half of last season. Fine, but 1000 yards is still 1000 yards.

.
1000 yards is not what it use to be...Almost any back can hit 1000....Even if he did'nt start off as a starter......U get those kind of backs almost every year.....Then those same guys end up being career back ups or are out of the league in a few years.

Detroit (Kevin Smith = 29 carries, 102 yds, for a 3.5 avg.)
New Orleans (Reggie Bush, who's not an every down back, like Fargas, has 42carries, 152 yds, for a 3.6 avg.)
Kansas City (Larry Johnson = 58 carries, 217 yds, for a 3.7 avg.)
Cincinnati (Chris Perry = 60 carries, 180 yds, for a 3.0 avg.)
Cleveland (Jamal Lewis = 44 carries, 156 yds for a 3.5 avg.)
Tennessee (Lendale White = 49 carries, 148 yds, for a 3.0 avg.)

Justin Fargas: 27 carries, 140 yds, for a 5.2 avg.

But it's a matter of opinion. I feel he could start on those teams.
What people are failing to realize is stats don't mean shit as of right now. We're only 3 games into the season so these stats can be very misleading. A Running Back could have just one good game (like McFadden) and the stats will indicate that he's better than a lot of other backs, which is just not the case. Maybe if we were past the halfway point we could use stats to see who's performing at a higher level because at that point there would have to be some level of consistency involved.

I don't see any way Fargas would start for New Orleans, KC or Cleveland even though the stats through 3 games suggest he could compete. I doubt he'd start for Tennessee either, but maybe Cincinnati.

Hey, motherfucker, I can hope, can't I?

LOL What's up, Fatal?
Of course you can. I think most raider fans are hoping the same. I just started laughing when I read that cuz it was worded funny, or maybe I just wasn't ready for it. Either way it was comedy.

But what's up man? I've been hella busy lately but I figure I can make a little time to chop it up about football with the Siccness..

Yeah, man...I've stated before that I appreciate and respect what Al's done for the franchise, as far as it's history and excellence in the past, but I can't live in the past. I live for now, and the future, and he's done nothing but tear my team down and shit on it consistantly, year after year, and it's a shitty feeling. I wouldn't wish death on anyone, but I'm a diehard Raider, so my team > > > his life; meaning, I wouldn't cry if he died, as long as I knew my team would improve. LOL

Yeah it's obvious to everyone he's the main reason the raiders have been in such bad shape the past 5 years. Well, it's obvious to everyone except Al. I can understand where he's coming from to an extent. He wants the team to win and he really thinks the decisions he makes will help the team, but after 5 years of fucking the team over you'd think he would eventually realize he is doing nothing but hurting it. The NFL is not the same as it was in his glory days and he still believes his outdated tactics will work.

I know how you feel though. The Yorks have been destroying the Niners since Eddie D. turned the team over to that bitch Denise. They wanted nothing to do with Eddie's reign and wound up getting rid of a lot of talent (both players and coaches) for that reason alone. Add to that the fact that nobody in that family knows a damn thing about football and you see exactly why we have a horrible Head Coach and 5 straight losing seasons. If they knew anything about this team they would fire Mike Nolan and promote Mike Martz immediately. But in all reality, there's a good chance Nolan will stick around and Martz will find another team to coach. Unless Scot McCloughan decides to take action, but somehow I think a decision like that would still go to the Yorks and they don't know what the fuck is going on.

So I feel your pain.

You can sympathize with my pain, but cannot fathom what Raiders fans have been through. LOL!

But, yeah...the list of ''should have's'' goes on and on and on...we SHOULD HAVE kept Gruden, we SHOULD HAVE drafted (insert name here) instead of Gallery, we SHOULD HAVE taken a QB 2 years ago, when Lienert, Cutler, etc. were available, we SHOULD HAVE...you get the picture.

EXCELLENT POST. FATAL REMAINS ONE OF THE LEAST HOMERISH AND MORE REALISTIC NINER FANS ON THIS SITE.

not disagreeing at all. i think he's dope. some could say that he's only had one good game this year though. so the whole "mcfadden's only had one good game" shit needs to stop.
U just don't get it do u? That shit won't die cuz of this thread we're in right now.....Look above @ the thread title and you'll realize why people are saying what they are saying.....I like D-Mac....Always have but I gotta be realistic.....To be honest i hardly ever run into realistic Raider fans.

so now you're just defending the honor of the word "beast" huh? haha
just like every other word that has been played out or over used. it happens.
i'm simply just putting up an argument. nobody can say he isn't beast like haha same as people shouldn't being saying he is, yet.

don't take it too serious. it isn't healthy.
