since rob works for Chapman, and Strange was building a studio at their blue springs HQ..doesnt it make since for them to hire an engineer for their new in house studio...and I would doubt Rob would leave Chapman after all these years plus he has more clients then just Strange...just my theory

That crossed my mind too, but Tech's tweet does make it sound as though he feels he may have "driven him away," which may not fully play into that theory.
