A classic is an album that actually affected a region's sound or movement. Whether it's the number of units sold, amount of fans that have showed continued support at shows and online, or influenced the sound of others albums.

we aint had one yet.. weve had good albums but no classics yet in my opinion...

but im not a easy sale..

a classic to me is a timeless record.. somthing u can play in 10 years and it still sounds curent, or regardless of its timeframe it matches up wit the best of any time period

heres what i consider classics

so cal:
the chronic, the chronic 2001, all eyes on me, doggy style, dogg food, safe and sound, balance and options, bow down, the preditor, ect i can keep goin

the bay:
in a major way, loyalty and betrayal, game related, stackin chips, untouchable, i can also keep goin

down south/east
atliens, word of mouf, back for the first time, the dynasty, get rich or die tryin
i could keep goin but my hand is broke and im tired of typin,

but the nw hasnt had an album of that caliber ever, even mix days, so i cant say weve had a classic, alot of good albums, but we aint gone see a classic till the re-up drops...

So I guess Mix-A-Lot is not a classic to you huh? Possie on Broadway?
Classics get sampled and he has been sampled by some of the hottest groups out, E-40, Pussy Cat Dolls, etc. He also has a platinum plaque for a single, Baby Got Back (even if it's not your type of music).
If his music influences a guy that you considers has several classics how is his music not a classic?

Oh and I don't know how I forgot to mention Bosko- That Fire.
