Most are low IQ individuals who don't have the intelligence or ability to do anything else.
Yup 100% this right here for the simple fact that you can actually be denied being hired as a police officer for being too smart. People that are smarter tend to think "hmmm maybe this shit isn't right" while the type they want to hire fall into the pack mentality much easier.

As for the rest about cops in general all that I'm going to say is the argument about the "good ones" out there is that they are guilty by association (a phrase they love to use themselves) in my opinion due to blue wall of silence. Even if they are a "good cop" I can 100% guarantee if they've been on the force more than a year or two they've seen some really faulty shit done by their fellow officers, more than likely numerous times at that, and they almost always turn a blind eye to it. So fuck them too.

And we've seen examples of what happens to the ones that don't....

I have no problem with a broad brush stroke over the police force as a whole because it's not like a regular working job like a teacher or whatever. IMO you have to be pretty fucked in the head to want a career being a police officer. I think it takes sick and twisted individuals to actually want to uphold and enforce oppressive laws on a daily basis. This is part of the reason why we see so many "bad cops" doing bad things because generally speaking, these are the kinds of people who set out to have careers as police officers in the first place.

What's even worse that police are correctional officers. You have to be absolutely sick in the head to WANT to have this job. I understand those who may live in a small town and they literally can't find work anywhere and this is the only job they can get, ok fine, but for any of those people who purposely get into this and find enjoyment in their jobs, fuck them - I wish they were wiped off the face of the earth.
I respect your position, but disagree with it and here is why. Maybe the system is oppressive. However, some of those involved in the oppressing (cops), may feel like they really are doing good. I believe its almost human nature that humans will abuse power if given to them (remember the Stanford experiment in the 70's?). And i do think it takes a certain type to want to be a cop. Its the same thing for those who want to join the armed forces. Yet, it seems very few here view them in the same way. Arent soldiers and cops under the same oppressive regime? So why do they get a pass? These people are seen as hero's, yet we have heard the horror stories of SOME soldiers raping and joy killing. How come we don't broad stroke them?

My point is, you cant cherry pick what we chose as "crooked" if they are all under the same umbrella. I also believe that some DO go in with the idea of they are doing something bigger and better...and that some DO. I have met very nice cops. Yes, shocking to hear. In fact, most of my dealings with police have been cordial and professional, but i have had a few with some cocksmokers.

And i really don't want to get into a debate about laws. But if people are going to say "fuck the police because they pulled me over for doing what i want to do and fuck laws"....uhhhh ok. Then why not get mad, again, at the people doing the actual oppressing: the politicians? THEY made the laws. Not the cops. Thats like throwing drug users in jail to stop drug dealing. Makes sense.

This is still broad stroking though. Youre putting the assumption that EVERY cop ever has seen something dirty, when there is literally no way to prove it. Its just an assumption.

Yes, they are apart of the same oppressive apparatus. The Repressive State Apparatus consists of the army, the police, the judiciary, and the prison system. It operates primarily by means of mental and physical coercion and violence (latent and actual). I view those who joined the military in the same light, glad you brought that up. I suppose it's a little different though in some cases, I mean who joins the military? Young kids who have no idea what to do with their lives and for whatever reason they see the military as a way out from Bumfuck, USA, often times they believe whatever nonsense the military is selling about getting an education that otherwise wouldn't be available to them. But for those people who join because they legitimately think they are saving the world and are too stupid to realize they are apart of an oppressive military machine, Well honestly, and I know this opinion isn't PC and probably not a popular one on the sicc, but fuck them, if they die overseas good, let them die. For those young kids who joined up for the wrong reasons, I hope they come home safe and never have to experience the horrors of war.

My point is, you cant cherry pick what we chose as "crooked" if they are all under the same umbrella. That's the thing though- it doesn't matter if these individuals are nice and believe they are doing good because they are apart of the oppressive apparatus! Hate to use such an extreme example but I'm going to do so to get my point accoss, but surely there were nice, good Nazis who believed they were doing good, right? Did it matter at all that some of these individuals were legitimately good people just doing their job? No because they were fucking Nazis lol. Same LOGIC applies here. Good individual cop, part of an oppressive apparatus.

And i really don't want to get into a debate about laws. But if people are going to say "fuck the police because they pulled me over for doing what i want to do and fuck laws"....uhhhh ok. That's part of it. The police enforce oppressive laws that the oppressive ruling class makes. It goes hand in hand.
