And that genre has died down considerably and is a shell of its former self. So called gangsta rap is already on the outskirts even though you have trap music, which is basically the same thing (content wise.) Problem is, if it doesn't sound like whatever is the flavor of the month (musically speaking) then a lot of these people ain't fuckin with it and that is one of the issues Megatron is trying to point out.

Tell me, has any "trap artist" said anything new or different from what any so called gangsta rap artist said 20 years ago?
