He directed Nick Cave's (if you know who that is) movie The Proposition back in 05. That was a great movie so I'm really looking forward to this. He also has done music videos for Nick Cave and a few other Australian musicians.

The book is very good and pretty short & easy. I would suggest people pick it up and read it prior to the movie's release.

i dont read books ever but i picked this one up at the airport and read it beginning to end in a lil less then a week.

i've never read the book before seeing the movie so this should be interesting...lol
