I don't feel that there's a TEAM in the East who are real contenders vs. the Lakers (if healthy) this upcoming season.
Boston, with Perkins out for 6 months. Ouch. Ray Allen isn't any younger...and how much does Garnett have left? IMO, though, they could be tops in the East, and will get thrashed by the Lakers.
Chicago has the potential to be tops in the East. Signing Boozer, Korver, and possibly Reddick addresses needs, and should be a team to watch.
Orlando, ehh...I don't think they like that Carter trade too much anymore...
Miami. I don't think they can get enough of a team around the 3 stars this year...maybe next year or the year after?
