i mean we got quinn, who'z the headliner right now, u got mess, u got Jt, Guce, but they aint hyphy rappers they gangsta rappers, its like they have to make a hyphy song or be signed to blackwallstreet like ya boy to get noticed

Crunk opened up doors for other southern artists. It has to start some where. Mike Jones, Paul Wall, Slim Thug, Lil FLip and T.I. just to name a few aren't crunk artists. But the exposure came around to them. The south blew up as a whole, but the crunk sound take over the air waves.

Just let this hyphy shit kick the doors down for other bay area artists. Just because they aren't hyphy rappers doesn't mean they won't be collaborating with hyphy artists and making tracks. Once listeners understand that these rappers are from the Bay- people will look more into Bay Area artists. As of now the Bay Area is blowing up as a whole with the focus of the hyphy sound.

It's only a matter of time.
