hopkins started to really show his age, i felt like if he would have let his hands go more when roy was against the ropes, instead of clinching he could have probably ended the fight.

they should both retire so they can both be inducted to the hall of fame at the same time, amazing careers for the both of them.

lol @ bhops acting, he's a horrible at it, although the first rabbit punch I think did some damage, as bernard had murderous intentions immediately after. I think tony weeks caught a couple of shots from bernard after the bell haha. He definately was trying to get more points defected on the 2nd rabbit punch and the love tap low blow, which was very strange being that bernard was winning the fight easily.

espn reported that hopkins collapsed in his dressing room after the fight and spent the night at the hospital, so i don't know maybe some of those rabbit punches really did effect him, either that or 12 rounds at the age of 45 is just too much for him now. Either way, both signs that it's time to hang 'em up.

lol @ b-hop saying he wants haye next haha those punches to the back of the head did fuck with his brain lmao...
apparently so.

After retreating to his dressing room, Hopkins collapsed to his knees and needed to be taken to the hospital. Early reports say that it was a result of the punches behind the head that had Hopkins seeing spots. A stretcher was reportedly brought to the locker room but Hopkins got into the ambulance on his own free will.

Did anyone watch the Haye/Ruiz fight? Haye DESTROYED Ruiz. Bring on a klitschko, that will be the first really big HW fight in a loooong time.

^ Didn't catch the Haye fight, but from what I hear, he might be two or three fights away from possibly being able to actually put up a good fight with one of the Big Klits.

Think so? Anyone who saw the fight...

I don't see why he can't fight one of them now.

I think haye puts up a good fight against both of them. Vitali is starting to show his age and Wlad will always have a shaky chin, if someone can actually hit it.

Don't know if he could beat either one though, but he'd put up a much better fight than all the other bums!

I only saw highlights of the ruiz fight, just the knockdowns I'm going to watch the whole thing tonight. I found this anti-haye gif on a different site, so maybe he didn't do all that great. I read he was hit a lot by Ruiz and haye also fouled a lot (rabbit punching) and could have been DQ'd?

I like Haye and think he is good for the division.
I started watching his fights before he came to the US (traded with some UK boxing fan). The guy was a monster at cruiser, and still is at HW...but I think both Klitschko's will be too much for him. Taller, longer reach, more power, weight, etc.

best part of the fight was hopkins ring entrance, shit was dope as hell. And the part in my sig. Other than that it was a stinker. Time to retire.

On a plus note that Black Soviet Union fighter on the undercard looks solid, he's going to be something special. Ismayl Sillakh 12-0 (11 KO's), he fucked Judah up

^^5-1 for hopkins to win straight up, BUT I placed money on hopkins to win by decision which was +130 so I won a little chedder.

nothing like what I won on the dirrell fight ending inside the distance though!

They give you the win on a DQ too?! Sick! Haha...thank the dirty tactics of King Arthur.

well yeah cuz Dirrel won inside the distance, doesn't matter how as long as he wins before the final bell rings.

I didn't even realize it because I thought I bet dirrell by stoppage, then logged on the next morning to check funds, saw account balance, started screamin lol

Just received that beautiful money order in the mail yesterday too. :)

Damn, this really adds more salt to roy jones wounds. B-hop raped him - roy jones probably wont make a dollar of his fight

"The sad thing about the fight is that Jones won’t make anything. Let’s assume for a second that the 6,792 in the building actually paid for their seats (we know that’s not true) and that the seats averaged $300 a ticket (a figure higher than reality). That would mean the gate was $2 million. If the expenses to rent the building and promote the fight were $1 million, that means $1 million is left. Now, let’s figure it sold 100,000 pay-per-views at $49.95 apiece. That’s about $5 million. They have to split 50 percent of that with the cable and satellite operators, so that leaves $2.498 million for themselves. Add the $1 million from the gate and the $2.498 million from the pay-per-view and you have $3.498 million in profit. Given that the contract called for the first $3.5 million in profit to go to Hopkins and Golden Boy, it’s almost certain Jones fought for nothing. Actual revenue will likely be far less than I’ve described above."
