No im not taking shit from you LOL..You didnt ride with the team regardless, you jumped ship over a draft pick and have only been a fan since we got Aaron Brooks.....

Ive been a fan since 1986 bro. Thats where my cousin finished his carrer and thats were ive been every since...I turned my DAD into a raider fan! not the other way around...Some of my friends coming up Are die hard Raider fans till this day because of me (which i damn near feel bad about).

Your cool in my book Tony, and i had your back when you wanted back into the nation and everyone was giving you a hard time....

A Raider fan talks bad about his own team and a Niner fan wants to shake his hand, how cute.

I have taken my 10 year-old to every home game the last 3 years. My 4-year old can go to the bathroom on his own so he gets his ticket now too. I added one for my lady who is a Niner fan. She is the DD.

The Raider games have been a great experience for my son. We have fun at every game, go to the kid zone at halftime and enjoy ourselves. Letting other people's actions ruin your experience is kind of feminine if you aske me. I have had to tell a couple loud mouths in our section to quiet down in the past. Mainly because of their language. They respected it and kept it respectful. It is not what you say but how you say it. I got thank you's from moms and their chicken husbands.lol. If you go through life letting other people or fears dictate what you do you are setting your kid up for failure off top. I am not driving through east oakland at night with my kids but you guys get the point.

Come on man y'all mf's gotta move forward and forget about me jumping ship for a week, I was just mad because we didn't draft Spiller. McFadden and McClain came through so I was wrong on both counts! But let's move forward mayne, me jumpin' ship wasn't official though because the pre-season didn't even start, it was only in April. I didn't feel it like I did when I left the Saints. Being a non Raider fan for a week was killing me. I had to come back and ask the Nation for forgiveness... y'all are my dogs!

Right on for having my back though... I know my boys S1, Meti4cal, corinthian, radiostationrep, and T-Rip still got my back too (even though I'm on probation, lol)

It's Raiders on mines with or without Brooks. But if Brooks will still our qb, we'd be on our way to the playoffs. AB was a good qb, he didn't get a fair chance because he was playing with a receiver who was quiting or changing his routes. He played hard for the Raiders...

P.S. I just added the Chicago Bears as my NFC team but when we play them it's Raiders 1st

Radio... You're an idiot... Kudos to you for tellin someone to be quiet, but what happens when the one guy doesn't and you get in a fight and go to jail? It's not about letting people dictate what you do, its about not putting yourself in a fucked up situation. You ever heard the saying the person with the nothing to lose always wins? My son goes to a's, giants and warrior games all the time, but niner games aren't a place for a kid which is a shame, cuz it should be a family environment. Pretty sad actually.

Im not talking bad just to do it. I'm calling it the way it is. I feel you about the kids thing tho but that environment its to iffy for me to take my family..I have 2 girls and 2 boys.

My youngest son is the only one who really likes sports anyways...Ive taken him to a warriors game and im bout to take him to an A's game soon....

You got reason to talk bad, i'd be lying if I said otherwise. But in 2011, the Raiders are going to be a good football team. Al has drafted well and finally created an environment that screams win. From the coaching staff to the young players he is bringing in, to the veterans that lead in the locker room. I don't get how you can be mad at what you see but that is my opinion.

There are idiots at every sporting event. I am far from an idiot but my decision making gets altered when I am drunk so I cut down on that big time at the games. The Raider games are a cool environment for the most part. It is mostly media and other team's fans hyping it up. If you feel that is not good for your son, that is what you feel. Nobody is blessed with perfect parenting skills but the love for our kids is undeniable. You do what you feel is best by your son. I tend to look at the positives and use Raider games as a tool to teach my sone things about life when they come up. How not to act, how to behave, etc. Even when daddy is wrong I let him know.

No, I am man. I hear what you are saying but in the end you stand up for what is right, that is what I do. If I have to fight a loud mouth at a Raider game for being disrespectful towards me and my family I will do that, not by choice though. I don't go to bars/clubs/etc. for the very reason you stated, I am not putting myself in a fucked up situation that can turn volatile. A football game is only fucked up if you let it be. I can't control what the next man does, but am not going to let some idiot or idiots stop me from enjoying the Raiders game and having a good time with my family. I didn't go the game in SF for this very reason though, I can't lie. My youth football team made that decision easy though.lol

I feel people like us should want to go the game to change the environemnt. We can't let derlicts dictate the things we like to do is my point.

My grandfather has been a season ticket holder since the Raiders existence. The only time they ever had a problem was when a drunk in the seat in front of my grandfather kept bumping in to him after my dad and Uncle asked him to stop on several occasions. Once he got smart mouthed my dad shut it for him and put him to sleep. Security and the police escorted him out, not my dad. Thye had to carry him out too. If it right, people will recognze that.

You gotta look at the big picture bro. What if there was a man woman and 2 kids 8 rows behind your pops, they don't know why he was fighting, but it just ruined there game. I'm not sayin don't be a man, but I'm choosing not to put my son in that environment. I don't want him to see me fight. A niner/raider game is no different than a club/bar, most everybody drinking having a good time, a couple old people in the corner mad cuz were having a good time and a handful of people that can't drink and act right ready to ruin it for everyone.

I'm not sayin you're right or wrong, just my personal preference. And if I look like a pussy or a bitch, so be it. Don't bother me one bit...

It is a matter of opinion for sure. The people you described above are the type of people that judge a book by its cover, the type society would be better without in my opinion, but that is a whole different subject.

I go to the Raiders game to watch the Raiders play football. It is something I like to do and something my kids like to do. My 4 year-old can't wait. He always says "dada, did you get me a ticket to the Raiders?" When I say yes he says"yeah!"lol.

There are always going to be people that don't know how to act, aka, the haters. I used to be one.lol. I can't live my life not doing the things I enjoy because of them. You obviously know how to be the bigger man, something I am slowly learning. If you like going to the games, go. The more family orientated people the better. We can't control other people, only ourselves in the end. If choose not to go that is your choice, no doubt. I feel guilty doing things I like to do without my kids so my activities always include them nowadays.

I hear you though man.

My son loves sporting events, he runs around the house screaming "lets go Oakland" (A's not raiders) and some of my best memories are from niner games when I was 6,7,8 years old. Tailgaitin withy pops and his homies feelin like one of the fellas. This is my 15 year as a season ticket holder, I don't let the idiots get to me. I talk shit to other teams fans, but I do it in a good natured way, having fun with it. I'll give them a dap and offer them a beer or a shot while were cracking jokes. My son wants to go and I want him to, but being 4 years old he wouldn't know if I was fighting for a valid reason. He would just see me figjting, and that's not the example I'm tryin to set. Once he knows right from wrong its another story. He'll be right by my side. Another couple years....
