What people should be encouraged by is the number of young people that will go pick up a book to learn about Thermopylae/Sparta/Persia, that never would have otherwise, thanks to this movie.

How many people take the Bible seriously?

How many people took "The Passion of the Christ" as fact and not fiction? People cried and described it as a "religious" experience. Don't ever forget that a large portion of our population is pretty fucking stupid.

Why do you even say anything? Everytime you talk its always negative. Your just like this kid I work with. When he talks, I swear a dark cloud goes by and then it rains for days. We know your angry with God. We get it. Let it go.

Are you talking about yourself? Because everytime I see your name, I know beforehand that it will be a negative response.

Read my response again - it's not negative. I'm simply stating truth.

Didn't the male Greeks fuck each other back in the old days anyways? (fags)
Something like that -- I think how it went down was that pubescent boys were "adopted" by older males for a few years to "show them how to be men", which not-so-much involved butt-fucking but mainly rubbing ones off between the thighs of the teenage boy from time to time and heavy petting style stuff like that along with birds and bees type talks to "prepare" them for having wives..... pretty creepy stuff those Greeks were into, they all touched little boys.... Plato, Socrates, Homer, all of em.....

And if anyone is wondering why how come I know so much about this its because we read ancient greek translations about it in a required humanities class in college back in the day -- I'm NOT some kind of self-taught "history of butt-fucking and paedofilia" expert....

That's pretty nasty. Gyros are tight though, so I can't hate.
