NJ lawmaker: Why should students pay for Snooki?

TRENTON, N.J. – One New Jersey lawmaker doesn't think reality TV star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi is worth the $32,000 she was paid to dish her GTL — gym, tanning, laundry — lifestyle at Rutgers University.
State Sen. Joe Kyrillos (KER'-ill-lohs) says students attending public colleges shouldn't be required to fund entertainment they find objectionable through mandatory activity fees.
Snooki last week was paid $2,000 more than the $30,000 the university is paying Nobel-winning novelist Toni Morrison to deliver the commencement address. The Republican lawmaker said he plans to sponsor legislation allowing students to opt into campus events requiring a fee.
The lawmaker, who does not represent "Jersey Shore" locale Seaside Heights, says he's certain there were many Rutgers students who were uninterested or "flat out outraged" by Snooki's appearance.

Jersey Shore Season 4 Possibly Cancelled
It looks like the Jersey Shore has a ‘Situation’ on it’s hands! As one of the hottest shows on TV, Jersey Shore has brought the cast mates big fame and in turn each season they’ve received even bigger money. Now Radar Online has exclusively learned that most of the cast has not yet signed their contracts for the 4th season of the hit reality show.
“Snooki, The Situation, J-Woww and Pauly D have not finalized their contracts because they can’t agree on the amount,” an insider told Radar Online exclusively.
“As of last week Deena hadn’t signed her contract either but Ronnie, Sammi, and Vinny were done.”
MTV is no stranger to contract disputes with the cast, just last year they refused to sign an agreement for their third season until they were offered a better deal.
“Last time they had these issues, it was Ronnie, Sammi and Vinny who held out the longest,” the source said.
“Time is short, everyone is getting concerned because they’re supposed to leave for Italy soon, I just hope they can settle it.”
MTV was unavailable for comment.

They're the ones who seem to be expanding and doing their own shit, so of course there's no real need for them to sign.
Other than Ronnie doing a stupid Xenadrine commercial, where he looks uncomfortable as hell, none of them seem to be doing anything, so of course they signed the contracts hella quick lol.
