After reading Jack Del Rio's interviews when asked about Sio it seems like he's playing the role of hardass dickhead coach. If a guy is injured he's basically seen as useless.

“Guys pretty much get what they earn,” Del Rio said. “In his case, he missed an awful lot of time. He fell behind. I let coaches play (whom) they wanted to play. We got him in. We got him a little time. That’s how it went. That’s how we see it.”

He had one fucking week to adapt to a new coaching staff and to get a chance to get on the field. Dude was ready to go for the season.

The Raiders have Ray-Ray Armstrong starting alongside Malcolm Smith and Curtis Lofton, I don't get how they see more upside with Armstrong than they do Sio.

Ray Ray Armstrong was rated according to PFF as our worst starting player in he preseason. Sio is way better than him. Sio is better than Malcolm smith. This trade has nothing to do with ability but has to do with coaches not liking him. We're not good enough to be trading a 3rd year player we drafted in the 3rd round 2 years ago for a fuckin 6 round pick.

im disappointed too. any one who went to any of the games last 2 years knows the energy he gives to a crowd thats a sorry ass excuse for a crowd.

players too. locker room presence. dude was a leader in any pregame activity, and got his team mates hyped up. you see any of the pregame pow wows, moore by himself or with woodson gettin everyone rowdy before kickoff

raiders took this one straight out of the a's playbook. "fan favorite? lets trade him for nothing even though we wont gain any money."

He's not suspended, the NFL already came out and said he can play on Sunday if he wants to. The police haven't moved forward with his case. The Raiders probably have some inside information on it, hence the reason he's signed.

If he keeps his shit together we might have the most insane front 7 in football.

The DA came out and charged him with 3 misdemeanors right after he signed lol, hopefully 3 misdemeanors don't keep him off the field.


If deal works out we upgraded from fucking Ray Ray Armstrong to Aldon Smith lol

I don't think del rio would be letting him practice with the team if he wasn't ready to go. every player that missed time with injury during the offseason wasn't allowed to just jump back in. they all worked out on the side until the coaching staff thought they were ready.
