seriously???

why doesn't Pacquiao just take the test if he has nothing to hide??
Theres an interview of Pacquiao taken a few years ago after he fought/lost to Morales. Someone screwed up his blood samples and they had to take blood from him 2 days before the fight. In the interview he says that he felt weak during from the time they took blood and during the whole fight. he says he didnt have any power in his punches and morales knew it as well. I think Mayweather saw this interview and knew Pacquiao was going to have a problem with the blood testing so he made sure it was going to be in the contract. It was his out so he didnt have to fight Pacman. Or if Manny took the fight, he knew he would have a psychological advantage.

^^^nope...check this out if you had a training regiment that was a formula for success why would you want to mess with that if some scared lil girl(mayweather) thinks your cheating? if you think drawing blood at random times wouldnt effect your training your wrong...i get how people think hes hiding something,i get that side of the arguement too..but to say that the only reason he doesnt want to test because hes juicing is BS, Pac has a legitiment arguement.

So as a result the so called greatest fighter of all time Floyd Money Mayweather is going to fight this pussy (who got his ass kicked by Ricky Hatton (lol) and Miguel Cotto and fights at 140 pounds):

Meanwhile Pacquiao is going to fight this animal that fights at floyds weight of 147 and arguably beat Miguel Cotto:

So you guys tell me? Why is Pacquiao fighting the guys that Mayweather wants nothing to do with?

As far as the drug testing, first off Floyd aint the commisioner of boxing. There are already standard drug tests in the state of Nevada which are used for boxing and mma fights. Secondly, Pacquiao agreed to additional random blood tests up to a certain cut of date (24 days), as well as unlimitted amount of random urine tests and of course urine & blood tests immediately after the fight. WTF else does floyd want? Already, Pacquiao has agreed to be tested more than any other boxer or mma fighter in the history of either sport.

Why doesn't he just agree to the 14 day cut off man? It's not like they're going to be taking pints of blood during the random blood test. Plus it's random anyway, there's no telling how many times he'll be tested or how much blood will be drawn. 14 days before the fight they won't even have to worry anymore.

You have no idea if that 14 days was even proposed though. That's what Mayweather claims now, after the fight was called off entirely.

All we know is there were 9 hours of mediation two days ago and they couldn't agree on the terms. Pacquiao's camp said their compromise was 24 days and mayweather never mentioned 14 days, Mayweather claims he did. So really as far as that one point goes it's a he said she said thing.

Further, Bernard Hopkins who's apart of Golden Boy may have accidentally spilled the beans when he stated that he thought the fight wasn't going to happen and that mayweather would fight shane mosley, pacquiao would fight "that jewish kid" (lol) and after they'd fight at the end of 2010. Hopkins said there isn't enough time to promote the fight and that all this is for publicity. He also said mayweather faked a rib injury against marquez to have more time to promote the fight and in the end did 1 million PPV buys, so it was a smart business move.

So really, I'm having a hard time believing anything Golden Boy/Mayweather say, as well as Top Rank/Bob Arum.

Well it's out there now.... 14-days=two weeks with no blood drawn. I don't know why Mayweather would lie about that.

Floyd has agreed to the 8 oz gloves, has a agreed to pay million(s) if he comes in overweight, and has agreed to the 50/50 split. And now he's given in a little in regards to the blood testing.

So now it looks like Manny/Arum are playing around.

The bottom line is that Floyd ends up looking like he's avoiding the fight. Doesn't look good for his reputation that people already question enough for his history of avoiding the toughest fights.

You can't say the same about Manny Pacquiao.

He's fought the best fighters in each division he's moved up in. Period. (Well, 135 might be the exception...)

Floyd's history makes it easy to chalk this up as him just dodging another tough fight/fighter.

It doesn't look like he's avoiding the fight if you ask me.

If pac agrees to the cut off date of 14 days before the fight, the fight is on.

the fight is OFF though and both camps have moved on, so proposing a 14 day cut off date at this point means nothing. They negotiated, couldn't agree, they had one last resort in having the mediator work between them for 9 hours straight, and came up empty and the fight was declared dead.

Why didn't mayweather demand these outrageous tests done to any of his previous 40 opponents though? Why is there always some excuse with Floyd? Shane Mosley isn't a PPV buy and lost 5 times. Cotto isn't a big draw. Margarito is a bum. pacquiao wont take tests. This list goes on and on. It seems with mayweather, whenever there is a potential of fighting a really solid opponent there is some reason that floyd doesn't want to fight them, time and time again. People are getting sick of it.

Fuck, even if Pac was roided the fuck out mayweather should be able to beat him. It's not like PED's make you invincible (look at Vargas or Tommy Morrison or James Toney or Roy Jones or Shane Mosley or Evander Holyfield, which btw were all caught without "Olympic style drug testing").

I hope Pacquiao-Clottey gets made. Clottey is a fucking beast. Nobody looks good against him, and he's got an iron chin.

I would have liked to see Pacquiao-Bradley at 140, but this is just as good. Clottey is a top 5 welterweight IMO.

Evander Holyfield never tested positive....

Mayweather didn't demand his other opponents get tested like that because he didn't think they were on roids. Obviously he really thinks Manny could be juicin'...

LOL, he wasn't linked to balco. They did a drug raid somewhere in Florida and found an envelope with Evan Fields on it, it matched his birthdate, then they called the number on it and they said Evander Holyfield answered it. LOL

Need a little bit more proof.... he's never tested positive.
