My hat goes off to Pac man. He knocked Hatton the fuck out. but how hard is it to knock some one out who stands right in front of you stationary. Hatton obviously threw Mayweather's game plan out the window from the start. He was "way" too over aggressive and played right into Freddy Roach's plans. Hatton reverted to what he does best which is try to bully a fighter, but clearly Pac is not the amateurish fighter he was just 4-5 years ago. The key to Pac's success is clearly a longstanding relationship with Freddy Roach, who has the perfect fighter with the right skill sets to instill his game plan. That being said, had Hatton attempted to stick to any thing he was taught (which is hard to do if you haven;t been doing it along time), he could have made this a better fight. He had absolutely no head movement, he rushed right into Manny wrecklessly, and got caught with shots he couldn't see. He didn't lead with a jab, and for that, he got knocked the fuck out. Even Manny said he felt the power in Hatton punches. The thing I was most surprised about was the fact that Hatton would stand stationary in front of a puncher. That last knock down, Pac almost looked like he didn't know what Hatton was doin, like he was being baited by Hatton just standing there, then he was like fuck it, if you're gonna stand there half guarded and not move, then take this punch with you on your way down. Again, my hats off to Pac. He came in this fight well prepared. Quick hands, slick movement, brought the power etc. I think his best bet is to clean up the 140 pound weight class. There are alot of great fights waiting for him there.
As for Mayweather/Marquez, even in a year and a half lay off, I don't see Marquez beating Mayweather. The only way he could dbeat Mayweather is if Mayweather changed his spots over night, and you all know that aint gonna happen. He's a slick fighter with speed and sneaky power. He's a body puncher who will eventually get the fight with Manny by the end of the year, mark my word on that
