^^well it must suck cuz pacman keeps on winnin!

My final prediction is Pacman by TKO, 10th round. Ricky hatton just eats too much leather, pacquiao will be too fast, too accurate. It will be competitive for the first half of the fight, and I'm sure Mayweather sr. taught ricky a couple new tricks, but that wont be enough. Hatton has trouble with fast guys, he'll be overwhelmed. His face is going to be so cut up and swollen that either the ref/doctor or his corner will stop the fight, or he'll finally go down himself.

^^this fight is also for legacy. If Pacquiao wins this will make him what, a 6 division champion? (flyweight, super bantamweight, featherweight, super featherweight, lightweight and now jr. welterweight if he wins)

And ricky hatton is no chump, he is the legitimate champion at 140. He's not 45-1 for no reason, he's got skills and he will put up a good fight against pacquiao (lots of people are picking him to win too because his strength should be more than pacquiao's).

And hatton didn't look bad his last fight against paulie malignaggi, he looked better than he has in years, imo. Part of that is because Paulie has no power, but still hatton fought a perfect fight and won with ease.

Pac will make Hatton's face look like Sloth from Goonies and in the later rounds will look to ko. Speed is key for pacman to win as long as he stays away from hatton's inside fighting.

Hatton has had a very tough time with southpaws, and walks face first into straight left hands.

Couple this with Manny's lateral and in & out movement and I just don't think Hatton will ever be able to keep Manny pinned anywhere long enough to get anything significant off.

Hatton isn't slow by any means, but he isn't terribly fast either, and he also isn't known for his counter-punching ability.

I think this fight gets stopped on cuts in the 9th or 10th round, and Manny gets a decisive win and his place in history.

If he wins this fight it will be his 6th division World Championship (only De La Hoya has done this in the sport's history)...but it will also be his 4th linear World Championship since Ricky is regarded as the undisputed top dog at '40.

Truth. Hatton is still the man at 140 and he can punch. I don't have much faith in him winning considering he was getting his wobbled by Lazcano on more than one occasion. Hatton still poses a serious threat to Pacquiao and is a much better title win than his belt collecting at 135 where he beat the worst champion at that time.

I will never give any credit to Hatton cuz my boy is on his nuts so badly, I really dont respect his boxing skills, all he does is charge in like a bull. His only 2 legit wins were against over the hill fighters in Castillo and Tsyzu. Collazo out boxed him badly and got screwed in the decision. Pacquiao is gonna destroy this dude.

I keep reading about this distinctive 'size' advantage that Hatton allegedly has over Manny.

I don't see it.

People keep mentioning the fact that Manny started his pro career at 106, but he was 16 at the time. He looks like a natural lightweight IMO, but I just don't see this huge size discrepancy that Hatton is talking about.

Not a shabby looking undercard for this one...I mean some really exciting prospects fighting ie Kirkland, and Lara.

Humberto Soto v. Benoit Gaudet

James Kirkland v. Michael Walker

Matt Korobov v. Rodrigo Aguiar

Erislandy Lara v. TBA
