Of course if you make shitty products the same quality as Chinese products, but for a much higher price, then high taxes will fuck you.

Dudes pack here in Oklahoma pretty regularly, plus all the people that hunt out here, even more people have them in their homes. Shotguns, handguns and assault rifles. The murder rate is much lower than it is in Salinas, CA, that's for sure. You have to pass a psych. eval. before getting registered here, and go through a carrier/owner safety course before being approved which does go a long way into helping that. Of course, people who are not registered still get guns, but the violence just isn't as bad here as a whole. I'm sure house break-ins are a lot lower here though because of it lol
