Most of the time it is a waste because the mothafucka who's album youre buying...most likely, he put some half assed bullshit. The shyt might have 20 songs, and only 3 are worth listening to. Props for Trae and K-Rino for giving me 2 albums this year that I can listen to front and back without skipping a song.

these days its a gamble...if im a fan of the artist and i know they always come with a solid album i end up buying it even if i downloaded it way before....but these days i dont expect much from lyrical content cuz like you said its just dudes braggin about themselves.....if it bumps it bumps which is why im finding myself listening to alot of dirty south shit alot more....guys bragging about themselves but over sick beats lol.

i find myself listening to less and less rap theres way more quality & timeless music out there to just limit yourself to it.

I usually buy albums that are from artists I want to support so they make more good music, and like other guy I try to only download out of prints and free mixtapes.

If they puttin out quality music then IMO it's not a waste of time, but as long as the music being put out is what i've been exposed to on the radio, then it's a huge waste of my money!

It all depends on what kind of listener you are if you a Leech then you never buy anything and download everything, you are a peice of shit. But if you really Eat Drink Sleep and Buy this Muzicc like I do then you are a REAL O.G. And True Muzicc listener and collector.

I still buy CD's but half of them are old shit I'm replacing. As far as new shit, I buy about 6 CD's a year now(not including mixtapes) cuz of the qaulity of the music compared to when I use 2 buy 15-20 CD's a year back in the 90's.

hell yeah last 2 cds i bought and was happy wit were the jackartist & the rock: pressure makes diamonds other than that i havent felt anything else was worth it.... oh and my ghetto report card really was feelin 40 on that no matter wht no one says

i think they USED to be worth buying... not no more.. asme shit repeated

only Rap albums ill actually cop now is TECH N9NE..HE puts out CDs that i can listen to front n back and the only reason y ill skip a song is cuz the next track i know is even better
