Something on the damn thing was vibrating due to the fucking CD-drive being so....active. It was getting annoying. I hit it one too many times near the HDD and I heard a "clink...clink...CLUNK". Five seconds later, it gave me a message that it could no longer read the disk.

Why is the PS3 so quiet and the 360 is so fucking LOUD? The disks are spinning at such a fast rate that I think the disk is going to fly out of the damn drive like a ninja star and slice my throat open.

I MIGHT buy a new one, but that shit is super annoying.

i've been through three boxes in the last three years (thank you best buy warranty!). The first two where hella loud but the last one has been pretty quiet so far...guess it didnt get dropped in the wherehouse like the others.

Im contemplating paying the 100 bucks to get mine fixed, although it'll be the third time ive sent it in for hardware malfunction. Its the first time im paying for it, but im thinkin about just buying a new one. But i need a new Live membership and MW2 and NBA 2K10 so i think i'll just send it in. Fucking frustrating though.

has your guys xbox ever beeped? my second one would beep randomnly shortly before it took a shit on me. I think it has something to do with overheating, but it was hella wierd to be playin a game and all the sudden from the corner of the room the xbox starts beepin like r2d2 or some shit.
