It's cool we all have our own opinions and observations. For some reason I feel like the last two episodes were really good, compared to last season which seem a bit below par (with exception to a couple amazing episodes). I've been happy with the pacing, progressing storylines, the scenes have been well directed and the writing has been better imo. The first episode was pretty Meh considering it was essentially briefly visiting Evey storyline, more like a recap. I think the way they've wrote this season by moving these stories quickly first few episodes will set up the rest of the season for a lot of intense, epic shit.

Kind of sucks that Alliser Thorne had to go. He was a pretty bad ass character. Ultimately he couldn't see the bigger picture though. It was kind of surprising that even after Hardhome he still just didn't get it. I mean they basically just betrayed Jon before it was even fully explained just how serious that shit was. Or maybe it was explained, but he just flat out blinded by his hate of the wildlings and couldn't accept that it's now a fight for the survival of all men and just how stacked the odds are against him. I don't know.. I just kind of was hoping he wouldn't have been one of the ones to betray John and that he'd finally get it. Guess that's just a testament to that guys acting skills, wanted him to stick around til the end
He deserved to die and it should have happened sooner. The fool knew white walkers existed. So instead of focusing on REAL SHIT, he wanted to cling to the past and fight wildlings. Fuck him. You got niggas comin back like Jesus, mixed with the powers of Mr. Fuckin Freeze, on their way to kill you but you want to fight savages? Fuck him.

I think that was a "save some money till the final scene" episode lol.

Got the feels when Sansa and Jon reunited.

Will be interesting Theons role helping his sister, that's obviously a lot different than the books.

Tormund indulging in some eye sex with Brianne was kinda funny, he's like now here's a real woman lol. Nice to see Littlefinger back. Everything building up to a Bastardbowl and looks like he'll be a factor. Overall not a lot whole lot on this episode though.

That autistic lord is sick as fuck.

And fuck Ramsey.
lol Littlefinger has that retard wrapped around, well, his finger.

Curious to see what houses Jon Snow will call on for support, I wonder which characters will be introduced (or brought back for that matter).

Saw these comments on reddit:

So many siblings reunited:

Jon and Sansa
Margaery and Loras
Theon and Asha

In all of them the sister is telling the brother to stop being a little bitch.

Great, "fan service" is being thrown around again like when breaking bad got huge. I swear hipster fucks always try to ruin anything that gets too popular for their liking. Go watch eraserhead and listen to some tuvan throat singing on clay records or whatever hipster shit you're into. No one cares about your anhedonia driven thoughts and you're not going to ruin anything or drag the show down at all so save the energy

Loved the episode ; been waiting so so so long for something good to finally happen for Sansa. It felt good to see some hope for her finally... Took goddamn 6 years lol. Glad they didn't make the reunion too cheesy

Brienne wasn't annoying for once i thought it was cool how she basically got in the red woman and Davos' face. The little non-dialogue interactions with tormund were hilarious

Littlefinger is a creep dude makes me nauseated . He can't keep this snake shit going on forever, someone's going to see through his bullshit hopefully sooner than later.

Grey worm / missandei are kind of annoying but Missandei is pretty hot (it is known) so i can tolerate it. Not sure what Tyrion has planned exactly but hopefully it gets Daenerys out of Meereen. Sick of that place and all the whining

I hope Daario gets killed soon, can't stand that fucker. Jorah seems kind of lucky his greyscale is easily concealable... What're the odds? High if it's in the plot to save it for a dramatic "reveal" i guess... lol

I'm not really sure what the hell cersei and jaime had planned. To have the Tyrell army there for crowd control / to seize margaery in the chaos after they assassinate the high sparrow? Or arrest him? Kind of missed that part have to rewatch it. Whatever it is sounds kind of stupid, somethings going to go bad, shits leading to civil war.

Theon going back to Asha was kind of weird... Not sure what's the point of all that is. Theon was beyond broken; is there more bad karma in store for him or is he going to be redeemed? Don't care tbh

Glad osha didn't get the drop on Ramsay. That'd be fucking retarded as much as everyone wants to see ramsay get his comeuppance

Seeing the North banners rally for jon and sansa and rickon would be pretty cool, but for some reason i think its just going to keep getting worse for sansa. They'll have to figure out how to take winterfell another way

And of course Emilia stole the show again. This episode had fantastic lighting especially in vaes dothrak. All those scenes were fantastic and seeing her seize power over the dothraki without the dragons or an ultra dramatic rescue was awesome

Sansa and Jon will bring the Wildlings south to Winterfell, Ramsay will be there. We'll spend a decent amount of time figuring out who takes what side (do you side with the Lords of Winterfell, or do you side against the Wildlings). Littlefinger and the Knights of the Vail come in, purportedly to help the Starks.

At some point, either the Umbers doublecross Ramsay or Little Finger doublecrosses everyone.

More importantly - were those Emilia tits or other tits?

This man asks the important questions.

They looked like the same tits we saw in season one, which we know she did nude scenes, so my bullshit cgi tit meter did not flicker at all. However, that's a very unscientific method so we should compare tiddies, for science.

Season one unburnt tiddies:

Can we get zoom? We need a zoom

Last night unburnt tiddies:

Conclusion: no body double, ⊙⊙ real deal holyfield

I'm convinced. If you're wrong, don't tell me.

90% chance they saw the tiddies and bowed. Next episode, they learn that the building was on fire as well.
Unburnt tiddies herself, which I could have led with lol:

"I'd like to remind people the last time I took my clothes off was season 3. That was awhile ago. It's now season 6. But this is all me, all proud, all strong. I'm just feeling genuinely happy I said 'Yes.' That ain't no body double!" -Emilia Clarke

is fan service a derogatory term? just learned it from this thread. I'm totally enjoying the season so far, just made an observation based on how quick things are moving and how everything feels like it's working out. I don't mind it.

I'm not a hipster tho so eat a dick, please, thanks in advance.

SO the funy part was she signed a no nudity clause into her contract at some point and even had a body double. Wonder what changed her mind...

And here is confirmation from about the biggest entertainment source you can get:

It's like a subtle shot at Cersei for using a body double during the shame walk. Which ironically if she didn't use a body double, presumably because her body isn't as good as the body doubles, it would have been more true to the books in that Cersei, part of the reason it was so humiliating, was because under all her impressive layers of clothing was her aging body, saggy tits and not so plump ass, so the people got to see the real her, someone not nearly as beautiful as she once was or projects herself to be. All of that was lost because the body double had a smoking hot body lol
