Whatever happens somehow someway Bran is going to end up Warg'n a dragon and spittin hot fire on the white walkers. I figure that will be close to end game though, so whenever the final season is, his journey and figuring out how to use his powers and presumably being taught by Bloodraven will lead to that moment and he will end up"flying" like his dreams, defeating the undead saving the world.
I can totally see that happening. From the book perspective I thought it was going to be Victarion Greyjoy that would claim the Dragonbinder horn then take control of at least one of the Dragons, maybe all of them if Daenerys did end up a complete tragic figure. But I really hate the whole Bran arc I don't know why. In both the books and the show it just drags on and on; like in the books it was especially terrible cause it was probably hundreds of pages of them just walking around and eating and trying to make it there then the show was like "Mario flower power to make this somewhat interesting" lol. I dunno... I'm sure if I actually read some of the history a lot of this writing is based on I could maybe get a better idea of what it's all leading to, kind of just blocking it out and naively hoping Daenerys sits the iron throne even though I know it's highly unlikely

Well to the shows credit it didn't drag on at all last season since they just said fuck it, no Bran this season whatsoever!

Some of the Bran stuff I enjoyed in both the books and the show, mainly because Hodor. Like when he warged Hodor and had him Hodor the fucking shit out of Hodors, that was cool. But yeah this is part of the story that gets a little too fantasy nerd shit. Some of the history of Westeros books shed some good light on the children, warg'n out, etc., I think that helped me a bit with his story.

I think the whitewalkers and Bran are the most interesting part of the show. Why? Because it basically null and voids all the bullshit drama that goes on in the rest of the world. Like, all the games and bullshit the kings/queens are pulling on each other is basically meaningless to the bigger picture.
Right on Mr. Contrarian

Pretty sure we're all aware of that, hence "Winter is Coming" being a meme since the absolute beginning of the show lol. It's the build up and all this "meaningless" stuff that makes this shit so epic and entertaining to watch. The long payoff. George R. R. Martin is on record stating he misses the days when authors like Tolkein had years and years to tell their stories and he doesn't appreciate this newer generation of pumping out watered down content then someone just watches it and moves on; no attention span no appreciation for the art.

It's pretty interesting that you like the Bran arc though. What do you think's ultimately going to happen in "the end"?

I want to see Bran warg Hodor and then fight The Mountain

i've seen some theories that based off GRRM using similar tropes several times in his earlier works, the children of the forest are most likely full of shit & hate humanity.

Well my friend changed his hbogo password or something super gay, then I can't sign up to HBO Now because it wont let me download the app to my phone to set up a subscription (apparently you can't just do it on a website). So I guess I'm going to be stealing the show through torrent lol.

Stupid ass HBO... can't even give them your money no wonder it's the most pirated show of all time

Good episode, lot's going on which is like all the first episodes, kinda gives a peak into each plot then the following episodes will focus more on the individual stories.

I liked Briane and Pod saving Sansa and Theon. Obviously the Red Woman shit at the end was nuts. My guess is she's sacrificing herself to resurrect Jon (only death can pay for life). I think she saw in the flames he's the chosen one and probably saw herself dead. When she took off her clothes I was thinking she's about to magic fuck Jon back to life and that her pussy is magical lol

The Dorne stuff is still the weak part of the show, but I didn't really care about that shit in the books either. I know people probably complain Areo Hotah was killed easily, since he was a badass in the books. Anyways, can't wait for next week.
