my internets been running slow for the past few days.

google searches and simple pages still load pretty quick. siccness and pages with more stuff load a little slower. and video or audio streams and downloads are just serio slow.

ive tried all these solutions that havent worked, but one i suspect might work is changing my routers wifi channel.

so i run the airport utility to change the channel but it says it cant find any airport wireless devices and to make sure its plugged in and my comp is close enough to it. it is plugged in and my comp is feet away from it (im connected to my network and am online so obviously the plugs are connected and my comp is close enough to the modem and router) so wusup with that???

am i missing something? has anyone dealt with this?

I havent been able to download from megaupload lately, everytime I try, it only downloads a few kbs and it says it downloaded from megaupload.com:1723 or it will stop me before i download and say "could not be saved, because the source file could not be read.

Try again later, or contact the server administrator", any ideas?

if it is only megaupload that is fucking up then it might just be their shit.

Of course it could be yours too, maybe firewall is blocking port 1723, maybe your ISP has megaupload:1732 black-listed . Who knows.
Have you tried google searching the error?

I cant open any microsoft office program today out of duckin no where, it says application failed to open because side by side configuration is incorrect......what the hell? did a system restore no luck, any idea>

How about just rebuild your system from scratch or from an image? Windows 7 has a built in utility to restore previous versions too. Why spend hours on virus issues, malware, etc.

My computer started trippin as it does every few months. It would completely freeze after different times of being up and running, Certain programs would not open up. Also would not shut down when prompted. After googling I decided to run Malwarebytes thinkin I might have malware or a trojan. I ran it(full scan) and it said like 300+ objects were infected. I followed the instructions for deletion once it finished. Then once I re-started my computer most of the icons on my desktop were white. And when you click on them they says "windows is missing the shortcut, to locate the file yourself blah blah blah". I even re-name mbabm.exe to svchost.com and ran it in safe mode. This found one more infection. But still up on re-starting most icons are white and not working. Task manager wont even open. I got my internet to work again because I saved the firefox.exe to my D: drive. I re-installed it and my internet works again. I'm trying to avoid a fresh install if I can. Do I have a virus? Anybody got any suggestions?

upon start up of my comp. i wait for the lil icons to load blah blah blah. but when I open up chrome it takes a while to load up (just a white page) for a long time. usually ill close it and re open it and it loads as it opens.

also at random times the computer will freeze and then go back to working, really fucking annoying when watching videos and shit.
- and from time to time my virus protector tells me either google chrome or itunes is hogging up all the memory?

how can i check my memory on my comp, what to delete and what to keep? anyway to make it faster, or stop freezing on me?

everyone on here has virues cause you look at porn sites
with no anti virus..

If you use windows you need Norton Antivirus...
and even then don't download free stuff or porn...

If you have Linux... as long as you don't download anything you're not sure of you're cool..

more Virus comes from porn and sites like the pirate bay...

If you surf the net on windows with no anti virus.. your computer gets fucked up for sure..
