2 officers shot in Pierce Co., both in critical condition
Two police officers were shot outside Eatonville, Pierce County, at 8:48 p.m. tonight while responding to a domestic-violence situation, according to the Pierce County Sheriff. Both deputies are in critical condition, according to Sheriff's spokesman Ed Troyer.

A third person, also was reportedly shot.
There is no word yet on the condition of the third person.
The shooting occurred at a home near Tanwax Lake north of Eatonville.
Sylvia Rowan, a neighbor, said she saw a police car arrive at the house after a fight between two male residents of the house and possibly a female resident.
Rowan said there had been frequent fights at the house, which is about 200 feet from her home.
"It's swarming with officers," Rowan said. At around 10:20 p.m., Rowan saw two ambulances leave the house.
