Deus Ex is better...It rapes fallout 3 and the game came out in 2000..GTFO it almost makes me feel bad that I played Fallout 3 first..it just feels like a dumbed down copy of Deus Ex

I finally got around to playing Fallout 3. I'm like 20 hours in and haven't even really done anything lol. I'll see the little unshaded triangles on the HUD and I HAVE to find where it is. It kinda drives me nuts because I want to knock out some missions, but I just end up exploring and exploring and exploring some more.

Fallout: New Vegas will probably be the same as Fallout 3 in that it took me almost two years to get around to playing it haha.

Oh I'm already sucked in...just not by the story. The only thing I've done story related since leaving the Vault, was get the password to Moriarty's terminal and have the info that my Dad went to the GNR building. I've done a few of the side missions for Moira and have Lucy West's request all but done, but I keep getting sidetracked exploring. I found the Nuka Cola factory last night, and spent soo much time exploring it lol.

I do have one question though. Are there any things you HAVE to do before a certain point in the game otherwise they can't be completed?

I don't think so but if you blow up Megaton obviously you can't do any quests there...Theres also a couple glitches for the Ghoul quest, you gotta be careful on what you do or the game will really fuck itself up...Also have you revisit the vault you came from yet? Thats something you can redo...The game is full of glitches but theres no problem like that^^

Word, appreciate it.

I disarmed the bomb in Megaton, so I don't gotta worry about that.

Right after I left the vault, I went right back in cuz I was scared

I was wondering if I would be able to go back in later and what all would happen if I could. I guess that'll probably be one of the next things I do.

I beat the game once a longtime ago, but I did it the evil bastard way and poisoned the water, blew up the brotherhood, and basically tried to blow the head off of every character I came across with my combat shotty. Im curious to see how it plays as a good guy.

To get back in the original vault open up your Pip-Boy screen nearby it and go to the Radio Frequencies and you should pick up the vaults..The girl will tell you to come back to the vault and its opened for you but once you leave it will become locked again

Fuck em up Pbarb!

Bethesda gambles on an extravagant Collector's Edition for Obsidian's Fallout: New Vegas, packed with poker chips, playing cards, and other exciting accouterments from the post-apocalyptic Sin City.

It's no lunch box and bubblehead, but it'll do in a pinch. The Fallout: New Vegas Collector's Edition comes packed with Vegas-themed goodies, from a set of "Lucky 7" poker chips representing the casinos of the New Vegas strip, to a custom set of playing cards, perfect for playing Caravan, a card game Obsidian invented specially for New Vegas.

You might want to keep the replica of the "Lucky 38" platinum chip away from prying eyes, but the hardcover graphic novel "All Roads," written by the game's creative director Avellone and created in conjunction with Dark Horse should be fine for sharing.

All this plus a making-of DVD, packed inside a box that looks as if it's newly recovered from beneath the desert sands.

"We're offering this very cool collector's edition to give fans the opportunity to own some of the items that they'll discover while playing Fallout: New Vegas," said Pete Hines, vice president of PR and marketing. "We are also expanding their experience with the game by including a top-notch graphic novel worthy of the Fallout name and a DVD that gives them a behind-the-scenes look at how the game was created."

The Fallout: New Vegas Collector's Edition will be available worldwide for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. Retailers should begin accepting preorders shortly. Are you all in?
