@l-wood,

yea i have the cinram for the hollow tip "tns".

for the rbl i have the rbo with the clock on it.

as far as both of these releases, they both og copies, they just got pressed up again probably because of the demand back then, so i would call them different og pressings versus re-releases. and the rbl, i think the one without the clock is the very 1st pressing because that in-a-minute clock logo if i'm correct didn't come out until sometime after that particular release, like maybe 2 or 3 years later. if i'm not mistaken. i don't think the earlier totally insanes like the 1st couple albums had that clock logo on them. same wit imp "bitd".

Also brought in my 2 different pressings of "Takin No Shortz"

#981027MM NFA-077 L382 MFG BY CINRAM

IFPI L792 145347-2WI-6169-A DISCTRONICS USA *HSR4111*

The artwork is identical but looks to be printed by 2 different manufactures. The top version has much sharper coloring and is cropped about a centimeter larger but you can tell the other version is not a scan and reprint job...both legit releases. Anybody know more?
Here are 2 more different pressings for Hollow Tip's "Takin No Shortz"

I got the second one, the disctronics disc, and it's a promo. It's not a bootleg or reprint as far as I can tell, besides promos tend to be first pressings. I've read something about these two versions having different outros, or differences in one of the other tracks.
What you read was right about the Outro on these. I just up'd them so you guys can hear it too.

Thinking the IFPI had to come first because it matches the time on the artwork. Anybody have the first outro on a different pressing? Seems to have been changed to a full song but they never fixed the tracklisting. Thank you for pointing this out Flowjob...had both of these for years and never noticed.

Another one, I noticed one ebay seller last week that sold that In-A-minute Too short player years double CD. He claimed that the first pressing of that album had one of those RAINBO ring codes with the date on, like those old e-40/click/RBL Posse albums while the most common edition only had the RAINBO ring code. Somebody else noticed that?

Since this has turned to different pressing thread, have y'all noticed that there are two versions of Pooh-Man's ain't no love? One has the bonus track Why I gotta be a bitch while the other one has that one deleted. I got both, and I remember getting the one with 15 tracks. It had enclosed a small note saying that this version did not contain the bonus track. Why would in-a-minute bother to remove that last track? Was the female rapper some kind of pooh-man girlfriend when the album was first released and then broke up for the second pressing?

so wait, the disctronics ringcode pressings are promos now???? just need a clarification because there's an Ebay seller right now selling the disctronics OG press with no promotional variants stated in the auction

Naah it's just that on mine. The barcode has been ripped out on the back cover and I know that the homie that I bought it from got it back in his days as a writer for Illtip Magazine. But because of the fact that there are disctronic versions as official promos I would assume that this version is the first pressing/OG.

FOr that 'Why I Gotta Be A Bitch' prolly wasn't very marketable for Pooh-Man at the time.. He was gettin stick from Dangerous Crew & affiliates at the time.. Havin that kinda track name ain't a good look. I've got the removed one like u said - w/ the note inside. Could you up the track? See what it's all about.

Here U go: 15 Why I Gotta Be a Bitch _-_ - Kopi.mp3 - 11.78MB

I got both Cd versions here at home and I just checked them both. It's impossible to find any difference. The ring codes are identical, the print on the disc is the same. I guess you gotta contact the sellers and ask whether the disc has 14 or 15 tracks, if you'd like that one with the bonus track.
I love these kinda tracks where men and females diss the hell out of each other on a track, just like Sho vs Choice, K-rino and that other female, Too Short and Danger zone etc...
anybody else got the 15 track version? It should be a lot of them out there....

Since albums like lesson to be learned obviously were pressed multiple times during the early 90s, what about other In-a-minute albums? Like the new jim jones by dre dog, does that one come with different ring codes too?

Thanks, I see there are different versions of this. I bought mine in 96 or 97 If I remember it correctly mine has a RAINBO ringcode. I'll confirm that. Maybe mine is a repress like that RBL posse lesson to be learned that I wrote about above.
