was a good fight, Diegos a pussy in my book for trying to pick on smaller fighters, he didnt cut it in 165 so he dropped down and now hes bigger then all the other fighters.

Diego was pretty small at welterweight... I think lightweight is perfect for him and I don't think he is one of the biggest lightweights either... His stand up is pretty terrible though, he doesn't really have any head movement and he pretty much eats punches to throw punches. He would probably get picked apart by BJ. I do want to see him fight Florian again, it would be alot closer than last time.

That kick that Guida ate late in the first round would have put 99.9% of cats in that divison to sleep the fact that Guida fought through and put on a great fight wins him a lot of respect in my book. Over all great match.

I thought Guida won the 2nd and 3rd, but yeah it was a great fight.

I actually just met Jason Guida, he took over for me at my job an hour ago haha. Said he just flew in, was still fired up about the fight too.

In terms of getting more wins in these real tough fights, I agree. In these extremely tough fights that he has that little bit of extra advantage could be the key of whether he gets a win or a loss.

But the main key here is money. Guida puts on a really good fight every time and is able to beat quality guys. In the UFC his paycheck is bigger and the bonuses are bigger.

Guida is a fucking beast. I figured he was done about a minute into the fight. One of the best I've seen and I thought Guida may have earned a draw as well.

which brings up the point that MMA reeeeeally needs to change the way they score matches. Using the boxing scoring rules is fucking dumb. I suggest they do it how pride did.
