^ there were quite a bit. But Garcia was the superior boxer in there, he controlled the ring, kept Matthyse's jab out of the fight and overall proved A LOT of people wrong. (myself included) Give him his props.

Matthyse looked pretty shocked at the outcome of the fight. I hope he's fighting again soon, he still has a lot of entertainment value.

One could make the argument Garcia could have been disqualified for how many low blows he landed but i give him his props even though i dont like him. He showed heart and courage to fight the fight he did. He was very lucky though the action got stopped when his mouth piece got knocked out.

Garcia was superior no doubt. I'm not gonna lie I thought Khan was going to beat his ass too

This is a fight I would love to see a rematch for. But rematches nowadays are rare unless its pacquiao marquez 14

Garcia beat the brakes out of Lucas. But Devon and Judah beat his ass but Bigface is a dickrider and don't know boxing.

What does Garcia do that makes you think he's going to be something special or big? He's a good well rounded fighter but nothing really great about his skillset stands out to me. Dude was looking pretty shaky in the last frew rounds against old Judah and hurt. I hope Matthysse puts this guy in a body bag!
After this fight you gotta recognize that Danny Garcia has that "special" something and now Lucas Matthysse...for the first time in Luca's career was beat without question.

Lucas proved he's got s solid chin, Matthysse proved he's one dimensional and has no.plan b. I don't think danny is special. Good, solid fighter but not special.

I knew garcia was gonna win, but not in that fashion. He stuck to his gameplan and won. The lowblows did affect Mathysse which the ref should have deducted points earlier in the fight but hey Danny's PR by heart and they all lowblow like a mutha

When Danny's pops slapped him and told him to focus he went out there and did exactly that. Now mind you I thought he was gonna get his block knocked off, and he had like 15 low blows, but he went out there and did his thing. Like 206 said, Matthysee is one dimensional and has no plan B, which is pathetic in this sport because you have to have a plan b-z.

Agreed man. Really disappointed in Matthysse. Seemed like he went in thinking quick KO and when it wasn't happening he didn't know what to do. He had his moments in spots but Garcia would clinch often and Matthysse had zero answer for that.
And that's exactly how it went bro. He was constantly looking for that one punch instead of using the jab and setting up combinations to open him up. And when it got in the inside he would get tied up, lose his momentum and take awhile to get back in rhythm. By the time that happened he'd already been hit with a couple of shots and it was rinse and repeat for the rest of the fight.
