still cant quite understand what was so good about Children Of Men....the ending was horrific. I only saw it once and maybe it went over my head? It had something to do with abortion right? Someone break it down.....

Anyway, There Will Be Blood at #1? Craziness....good movie with the twist at the end and everything, but it was long and drawn out......respect your list though, lots of classics in there........

.
If you think Children of Men had anything to do with abortion, you obviously didn't pay attention to the movie.

If you need a plot break down, either watch it again or read it on Wiki.

The way Children of Men was shot was dope ALONE....like there'd be an explosion and dirt would hit the camera lens, that was sick. i'll post up a longer response to this list later...i agree with this one way more then the AVN Club one.

I'm pretty indifferent about the positions of number 35-50 and could probably shuffle them around continually.

It is also hard to put documentary films into a list with "regular" movies. Other than Scratch - that is top 10 for sure.

I think this would have been easier to do with other people like AV Club was able to do and I would have been open to shifting some around all the way up to #1, but this was me bored on a snow day from work coming up with a list I feel is easily superior to the AV Club list.

Also I used Wikipedia's lists for movies that came out each year of the 00's so I'm sure I forgot some that could have been contenders.

i liked how they made that one battle scene when he's running into the building getting bucked at by the military. they filmed it all in one shot.

all around Children of men was dope.

For some reason I didn't think you were much of a fan of There Will Be Blood
I liked There Will Be Blood and not No Country For Old Men so that might be where the confusion is.

imo American Psycho is way to low
American Psycho is lucky it even made the list and could easily get bumped, but like I said so could a lot of the lower 15. And honestly the harder people would argue for those to be higher would probably be the harder I argue for them to be lower.

You honestly feel Death to Smoochy, training day & Super Troopers were better films than american pyscho? Really? No point in arguing an opinion, but I'm just sayin

I was entertained by them more than American Pyscho and I would rather re-watch all of them before seeing American Pyscho again.
