A remake of the 1981 film version of the myth of Perseus and his quest to battle both Medusa and the Kraken monster in order to save the Princess Andromeda.
Perseus (Worthington) is the mortal son of Zeus (Liam Neeson), king of the gods. He must lead a band of warriors on a quest to prevent Hades (Ralph Fiennes), god of the underworld, from seizing power from Zeus.
Set to be released March 2010. I can't find any trailers for it.

I know alot of you hate remakes. So what?! I want to see this.

I said a long time ago this would be a great movie to remake, because obviously technology has improved so much since then, the scenes with the Kraken etc. could look so much better, which for the most part they had to use claymation which kind of looks ridiculous now.

However, that was before this new era of the remake, which the track record has shown to be absolute shit.

Clash of the Titans is one of my all time favorite movies, so my standards will be very high. I already know they will fuck it up. And they better not have that stupid ass "300" type of feel to the movie, I hate that shit and the 2nd picture sort of looks like that.

This is how the main character looked like:

He doesn't need to look like a roman gladiator because the gods are protecting him anyway in the movie.

I don't have any expectations. I just want to see it. I may like it, I may not. But I won't complain around if I don't like it. They are two different movies, made in two different decades. We all know that the OG is going to be the best. So leave it at that, and try not to compair the two.(not directed towards you, just in general)

Medusa used to scare the fuck outta me when i was a kid when i would watch that shit, to be honest i've been nothin but disappointed with any remake from the 70's-80's...the grittiness from that era is hard to remake, its too much about visual stimulation than a good fuckin storyline these days in my opinion

MAN!! I always say that shit.....The shit of today is way too polished and filmmakers rely too heavily on technology.....Look at the old films(especially horror films) from the 70's and 80's and the music, directing editing, cinematography etc. is so creepy cuz technology was way less advanced...The outcome of the film was way more grimier and more grit.

The old shit still lightwieght scares a nigga even to this day and I'm in my 30's....lol...I see thenew shit and it don't scare me for shit no mater how gory or scary they make it.
