Beefy vs Canelo INTENSE face off!!!

Psych! Ain't no one scared of this dork lol

Smith still trying to figure out what he's doing here

Canelo growing the beard to hide how gaunt his face is. In case anyone is wondering what his diet has been the past couple months, here is his daily diet:

Breakfast
Egg whites with ham and orange juice

Lunch
Chicken with carrots, squash, broccoli and cauliflower

Snacks
Apples, cucumbers, grapes, jicama

Dinner
Protein shake with no carbs
Canelo shaved off that beard to make weight lol

and took off his boxers! like I've said before, all fighters go through it. I do believe this will be his last fight at 154 because all the other 154's are under Haymon. His next fight will probably be Curtis Stevens. Stevens is regarded by GGG to be the hardest puncher he's faced.

At least he doesn't have "unbiased reporters" and "real boxing fans" saying he's slightly sick as an excuse for why he looks the way he looks
Haha except no one used that as an excuse since people said that three days BEFORE the fight, not after and it was said by UK media. Before and after the fight, Golovkin and Abel said he was never sick and have no idea where that came from. The UK reports were unfounded. Fat Dan also said he hung out with Golovkin the day before the fight and he was fine. After I heard those rumors, I thought maybe he was a little sick, never stopped him before since he fought Rosado with the flu. Turned out he was fine.

Canelo had to strip down naked to make weight today btw.

Immediately after making weight:

David Greisman F @fig htingwords2
Canelo handed some pills and some liquid in a Gatorade bottle.

I'm sure he's fine though and VADA is doing a great job testing, oh wait Canelo/Smith cancelled VADA testing for unknown reasons! But it's ok cuz Texas has a wonderful track record of testing fighters...oh wait they let Change jr take diuretics against Rubio so he could make weight!

this is the kind of shit you would say about Mayweather hypocrite

Canelo, Smith No Longer VADA Testing - No Cause For Concern - Boxing News

Reasons are known, and it seems like they came from Smith's behalf. Let's continue to be unbiased here...

Smith showing a lot of heart that's for sure. But he's just too small for Canelo and doesn't have the power to bother Canelo, he lands a lot of punches but no real snap behind them. For his part, Canelo looks good going to the body and as usual has nice combo's especially the right to the body followed by right uppercut to the face. Smith in over his head though

Canelo! He'll fuck GGG up! And what's up with Kellerman acting like HBO owns Canelo like a fuckin slave. And Canelo puts GGG on blast. I told you all he wanted that half split on the purse.

Really entertaining fight while it lasted. Canelo was simply too skilled for the guy, but credit to Smith as he never backed down despite his shortcomings. Some of the shots Smith landed would have been KO's in case of GGG. I can see the Golovkin-Canelo bout unfolding in similar fashion as it did tonight, except once Golovkin lands one of those bombs, it could be lights out.

Smith seemed taller at least. Probably not as heavy. He landed some shots on Canelo.

Canelo gets better every fight though. He's probably in his prime if not very near, and probably should be taking harder challenges.

Told us what you dork? Lmao Canelo didn't even negotiate with Golovkin/K2, he dropped the belt before they even negotiated. That was confirmed by both Oscar and Tom Loeffler - Oscar called Tom Loeffler once the day after the Khan fight to tell him he'll call him again next week. He never called again and Canelo dropped the belt, never entering negotiations.

Golovkin was never going to ask for 50/50, Tom Loeffler said from day one Canelo would get the lionshare of the purse. Canelo trying to save face after the tons of backlash he's received. He keeps saying he'll fight Golovkin but he won't be "forced into the ring" (which of course means "I don't want to o fight him right now).

And of course not to mention moments after knocking out Khan, all the hat big tough guy talk about him fighting Golovkin next at 160 and Mexicans don't fuck around. Yeah that played out well. $100 he doesn't try to fight Golovkin next, he'll go after Billy Joe Saunders at best.
